US envoy: Iran has failed to declare all chemical weapons - News Agencies and Israel Hayom Staff

by News Agencies and Israel Hayom Staff

U.S. is worried Iran is seeking "central nervous system-acting chemicals for offensive purposes," Kenneth Ward tells Organisation for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

Iran has not declared all its chemical weapons capabilities to the global Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, in violation of international nonproliferation conventions, the U.S. ambassador to the organization said on Thursday.

Ambassador Kenneth Ward told an OPCW conference  in The Hague that Iran had failed to report a production facility for the filling of aerial bombs and maintains a program to obtain banned toxic munitions.

"The United States has had longstanding concerns that Iran maintains a chemical weapons program that it has failed to declare to the OPCW," Ward said.

"The United States is also concerned that Iran is also pursuing central nervous system-acting chemicals for offensive purposes."

Iran failed to declare the transfer of chemical weapons to Libya in the 1980s, even after Libya declared them to the OPCW in 2011, he said.

Ward cited the discovery of chemical-filled artillery projectiles, mortars and aerial bombs of Iranian origin as proof that Iran did not fully disclose its capabilities.

Iran denied the claims on Friday, describing the U.S. allegation as groundless, state TV reported.

"Once again America has leveled groundless accusations against Iran ... which we strongly reject," Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi was quoted as saying by Iranian TV.

Qasemi said Washington's aim is to divert international attention from its continued support for Israeli chemical arsenals.

Tensions have increased between the U.S. and Iran since May, when U.S. President Donald Trump pulled out of the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and six major powers and reimposed sanctions.

The U.N. atomic watchdog policing the pact reaffirmed on Thursday that Iran was implementing its side of the nuclear deal, two weeks after the latest wave of reimposed U.S. sanctions against Iran took effect.

"Iran is implementing its nuclear-related commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [the official name of the nuclear accord]," International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Yukiya Amano told a quarterly meeting of the agency’s 35-nation Board of Governors.

"It is essential that Iran continues to fully implement those commitments," he said, confirming the findings of a confidential report to IAEA member states last week.

Amano did not comment on the broader impact of U.S. sanctions, the latest round of which took effect on Nov. 5. Iran has warned it could scrap the deal if signatories France, Britain and Germany and their allies fail to preserve the economic benefits promised by its terms.

The European powers have been working on setting up a so-called special-purpose vehicle that would act as a kind of clearing house to match Iranian exports with EU exports in what amounts to a barter arrangement to circumvent U.S. sanctions.

But the countries they have approached to host it have declined, diplomats say, delaying the project and deepening doubt as to whether Europeans can counteract the bulk of U.S. sanctions targeting oil and other vital sources of income.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran has no intention of renegotiating the 2015 nuclear deal.

Speaking at an international conference in Rome, Zarif said the Iranian people would endure the U.S. sanctions.

The Troubles of Linda Sarsour - Ari Lieberman

by Ari Lieberman

When Jew-Hate and financial improprieties come with a cost.

Linda Sarsour has had a good run. Over the years, she’s raked in a lot of money and hobnobbed with the Hollywood elite but the media savvy, narcissistic anti-Semite, who never missed an opportunity to thrust herself into the limelight, is now watching as her former allies are distancing themselves from her like rats jumping from a sinking ship. Sarsour has become toxic.

First, it was actress Alyssa Milano, who announced that she would no longer speak at Women’s March rallies headed by Sarsour and her xenophobic cohorts, Carmen Perez and Tamika Mallory until the troika unequivocally condemned anti-Semitic and homophobic comments made by Nation of Islam head, Louis Farrakhan. Then Sarsour was dealt a second blow when “Will & Grace” star Debra Messing voiced support for Milano’s stance tweeting, “I stand with you @Alyssa_Milano.”

Sarsour is extremely sensitive to public criticism especially when it emanates from prominent quarters. Last year, CNN’s Jake Tapper called out Sarsour on her vocal support for a cop killer. Sarsour’s unhinged response was to accuse Tapper of being a member of the alt-right

The instant Milano-Messing one-two combination proved too much to bear for Sarsour whose raison d'être, aside from spreading Jew-hatred, is to consort with the rich and famous by falsely wrapping herself in the flag of progressivism. On November 8, the Women’s March released a pathetically weak statement which merely stated that they do not “endorse” Farrakhan’s comments on women, Jews and members of the LGBTQ communities. The statement concluded by going into deflect mode, blaming the racism on the Republican Party and Trump.

Utterly lacking in the statement was an unequivocal condemnation and repudiation of Farrakhan and his hateful rhetoric. The reason for the blatant omission is readily apparent; the Jew-hating, race-baiting foul-mouthed Sarsour agrees wholeheartedly with Farrakhan. One need look no further than the litany of past comments she’s made about the Jews, “the Jewish media,” and Zionists to know that Sarsour is an anti-Semite to her core. Her most recent gem, which garnered Twitter support from none other than former KKK leader David Duke, alleged that U.S. Jews maintain dual loyalties, a rancid anti-Semitic trope that draws widespread support among radical right and hard left conspiracists.

The November 8 statement did nothing to stem the tide of those calling for Sarsour & Company to step down. The Friedrich Ebert Foundation, an NGO affiliated with the German Social Democratic party, withdrew its Human Rights Award slated to be given to the Women’s March USA following troubling findings by doctoral students associated with the foundation. The students noted that “the Women’s March USA does not constitute an inclusive alliance,” and specifically cited Sarsour’s vitriol. The students cited the fact that Sarsour, among other things, “spreads anti-Semitic conspiracy theories that resemble the classic anti-Semitic trope of blood libel. In September 2018, for instance, she claimed that when US police officers shoot unarmed black people, Jewish persons responsible would lurk in the background.”

Then on November 19, Women’s March founder Teresa Shook took to Facebook to issue an unreserved, scathing criticism of those currently leading the Women’s March accusing them of “hav[ing] allowed anti-Semitism, anti-LBGTQIA sentiment and hateful, racist rhetoric to become a part of the [Women’s March] platform.”

The dramatic development proved too much to bear for Sarsour and her cohorts. On November 20, they were forced to issue a second statement, which was markedly more contrite in both tone and content than the first. But unsurprisingly, this too fell woefully short of what was required.

Adding to Women’s March’s leadership woes are accusations of financial improprieties which include mismanagement, unaccountability and embezzlement. The Women’s March rakes in millions in donations and grants but according to its former DC chapter president, Mercy Morganfield, Sarsour and her gang “have refused to give the [Women’s March] chapters any accountability for the money they receive in donations and grants;” this while they live it up in posh hotels, fly their family and friends everywhere, employ Nation of Islam thugs as their security detail and pay themselves monthly stipends.

As an aside, this isn’t the first time Sarsour has been accused of financial improprieties. Money raised by Sarsour and her partner Tarek El-Messidi, which was to be earmarked for the rehabilitation of a rundown Jewish cemetery, had not been delivered. At the time, Sarsour lashed out at her accusers, calling them “right-wing Zionists.” This is Sarsour’s modus operandi. She refutes her critics by labeling them. It’s a tired Sarsour melody that we’ve all sadly become accustomed to.

The public has grown weary of Linda Sarsour. Her latest mea culpa is nothing but a PR stunt and we’re not buying her snake oil. Sarsour is a vile, pernicious, foul-mouthed bigot and a master manipulator. Her latest faux expressions of contrition represent nothing more than pathetic attempts at damage control.

The New Crooked Congressional Black Caucus - Daniel Greenfield

by Daniel Greenfield

Civil rights loses, corruption wins.

In the last decade, every single House Democrat sent to prison for financial crimes was a Congressional Black Caucus member. In the last twenty years, it’s been over 80%. After the midterms, the CBC has grown past a record 50 members. But that doesn’t mean it’s getting better. Power makes it worse.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is the most famous freshman member of the CBC in the 116th Congress. The CBC’s PAC boasted that she is “the first Somali-American and first Muslim woman elected to Congress”.

She’s also the first member of Congress who had to deny being married to her brother.

As historical “firsts” go, alleged incest in the House is far more historic than being an immigrant from a failed state and then crawling into Congress on the strength of the Ellison voters in Little Mogadishu.

Omar has denied being married to her brother, even though evidence suggests that she was. A complaint was even filed accusing Omar of abusing taxpayer money to divorce her own brother.

And then there’s the anti-Semitism, the trespassing arrest, opposition to an FGM law, the campaign finance fines, she’s currently facing a second Minnesota Campaign Finance Board investigation, and sources in the Somali community alleged that Omar’s campaign was using another Somali candidate, Guhaad Said, allegedly accused of stabbing 3 people, to find out who had leaked the incest story.

Rep. Omar is already a train wreck before taking office, but that just means she fits in at the CBC.

The Congressional Black Caucus has achieved a record number of seats so it’s a power player in the new Dem House majority. And CBC leaders are demanding a status in the Democrat leadership commensurate with their growing numbers. The Caucus forms somewhat less than a quarter of the Dem House majority and is the core of Rep. Pelosi’s support, trading backing for House leadership positions.

But the Congressional Black Caucus is rotten with everything from corruption to anti-Semitism. Its newfound power in the House will allow CBC leaders even more scope for corruption and abuse. Numerous CBC members have faced ethics investigations, three have been sent to prison in the last 5 years, and a significant number have met with Farrakhan or attended Nation of Islam events.

And Rep. Omar is a reminder that it’s not just the old generation of CBC bench warmers, like Rep. Alcee Hastings, in gerrymandered districts who have become a byword for corruption and ethical issues.

The Congressional Black Caucus has only one foe it hates more than Republicans, the Office of Congressional Ethics. Rep. Marcia Fudge, who had recently essayed a failed bid against Rep. Pelosi for the Speakership, tried to gut the independent organization in 2010. Joining her were 19 CBC members.  The resolution would have sealed complaints against House members away from public view.

Rep. Fudge’s coup fell apart when Lance Mason, a Democrat politician and former judge, murdered his ex-wife. Fudge had written a letter in Mason’s defense when he was put on trial for beating his wife so badly that she required reconstructive surgery. Mason got a slap on the wrist and a job from the mayor of Cleveland, a political ally of Fudge’s, allegedly at the instigation of Fudge.

There’s little doubt that a newly empowered CBC will go to war against the ethics office. Before Fudge’s previous effort to gut OCE, 7 CBC members were being investigated.  In 2012, a report claimed that a third had been named in an ethics probe during their time in office.

CBC members have fought back with accusations of racism, but the toothless OCE investigations do little more than embarrass them. Even Rep. Laura Richardson, who went to war against OCE, got off with a $10,000 fine despite her staffers describing “attempts to intimidate them on a regular basis,” and an OCE report accusing her of destroying evidence and intimidating witnesses. Richardson blamed racism.

But criminal investigations have also disproportionately landed on the CBC.

Rep. Chaka Fattah was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2016 for racketeering, bribery, bank fraud, mail fraud and money laundering after stealing money from an educational foundation. His sentence set a record as the second-longest jail sentence received by a member of the House. The record was set by Rep. William “Cold Cash” Jefferson, another CBC member, who racked up 13 years in prison.

Rep. Corrine Brown was sentenced to 5 years in prison in 2017 for mail fraud and various other forms of fraud after running a fake charity that stole money meant to provide scholarships for minority students.

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was sentenced to prison in 2013 for wire fraud and mail fraud after abusing campaign funds to buy everything from cashmere capes to a $40,000 gold Rolex watch. A key element in Fattah’s case was a Porsche convertible. Corrine Brown’s slush fund helped pay for a luxury box at a Beyonce concert. That’s typical of the crimes committed by CBC members which involve plain old greed.

Corruption isn’t new to Capitol Hill, but it’s particularly obscene when politicians representing impoverished areas steal money meant for their constituents to live ridiculously lavish lifestyles.

CBC members often set up educational non-profits, into which corporate donors pour money, but the only people who benefit are their friends, their family members and their own bank accounts. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson never went to jail, but Congressional Black Caucus Foundation scholarships that each member is supposed to distribute to needy district members instead went to her grandsons.

Rep. Frank Ballance did go to jail. In 2005, he was sentenced to 4 years in prison for that CBC standby, mail fraud and money laundering relating to theft of funds from an educational non-profit, run by him.

CBC non-profits notoriously function as slush funds for corporate lobbyists to trade favors for cash.

In the last decade, every single House Democrat sent to prison for financial crimes was a CBC member. In the last twenty years, it’s over 80%. These are deeply troubling statistics because the crimes invariably involve the politicians somehow enriching themselves at the expense of their poorer constituents.

The Congressional Black Caucus claimed to represent the interests of black communities, but then devolved into a disgusting orgy of corruption. CBC members are the easiest to bribe, the most willing to put out for corporate lobbyists, using the rhetoric of civil rights to cash in on their communities.

Even when it comes to the #MeToo movement, the CBC proved exceptional with a sexual harassment scandal forcing Rep. John Conyers to retire while Rep. Bobby Scott was accused of harassment by a member of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.

Will the freshman Congressional Black Caucus class break with tradition?

Rep. Omar’s campaign finance issues suggest otherwise. Rep. Lucy McBath had lefty billionaire Michael Bloomberg buy the election for her at a modest cost of $4.5 million. Rep. Steven Horsford joins the freshman class, but he's a political veteran who lost his previous election and has been accused of compromising ethical rules and repeated ethics violations.  In short, it’s CBC business as usual.

And beyond the corruption, is the contempt.

Rep. Antonio Delgado once sang, “Dead presidents can’t represent me, not when most of them believe in white supremacy/like spittin’ on my ancestry.” During a debate, he had claimed that, “Israel is not a Jewish democracy.”

The freshman class of the CBC brings in more political radicalism, but that’s not unusual in a caucus that includes Rep. Barbara Lee and Rep. Maxine Waters. Radicalism is a mask that CBC corruption often wears. And the two have come to comfortably coexist in the corrupt arrangements of a caucus that acts as the mercenaries for the Democrat establishment and any corporation willing to pay the bills.

The CBC has topped 50 members for the first time. But that’s not a victory for civil rights. It’s the triumph of corruption.

The 'right of return' is a Jewish right and the right of no others - Paul Britto

by Paul Britto

Hat tip: Dr. Carolyn Tal

The entire point of this written exercise, part of a larger work, is to arm the Jewish People of Eretz Israel with Biblical, Historic and Legal facts, in order to combat the lies of their enemies.

Mandate of Palestine, And the Two-State Solution already fulfilled / Worlds First Fake Refugees

“A Mandate for Palestine was created, restore to the Jewish people, a place for a National Home, with which they were Historically connected.  According to League of Nations a proposal was made first in 1920, the territory included current Israel plus the West Bank which is actually (Judea and Samaria)  along with the Gaza strip, the Golan Heights as well as Trans Jordan, containing a total of 120, 466 sq km. On July 24, 1922, the final land for a National Home of the Jewish People, was decided to be approximately 22,166 sq. km. This land would encompass current Israel, Gaza strip, Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights.”

“The British Mandate for Palestine suffered a great change, which resulted in a diminished  Jewish Homeland, a Faisel-Weizmann agreement was struck and signed by the Hashemite clan. Trans-Jordan was thereby created.  A compromise was done by the Jewish People in order to create an independent Arab nation under Hashemite rule. “The land of  Jordan was supposed to be the Arab portion of the two state solution.  Eretz Israel would then become the Homeland for the Jewish people. With the Faisel-Weizmann agreement Israel surrendered over 77 percent of their “Mandate  for Palestine,” to the Hashemite clan. This agreement gave the Jews of Eretz Israel, control of their Jewish Homeland. Even with this generous offer the Arabs as usual  ignored their own treaty, and broke their word.”- - Eli E Hertz, Myths and Facts.

This rapidly growing Jewish economy was too good to be resisted, and the Arabs began a campaign of massive immigration into the Jewish Palestine (Eretz Israel).  Coupled with this, they began terrorizing the Jewish population with murder and rioting, all in an attempt to steal land from its rightful Jewish owners.  It was the hope of the Jewish people to live in peace in their own land, but the Moslim counter-culture would not have it.

The League of Nations 1923:  “Any attempt to negate the Jewish People’s right to Palestine, Eretz-Israel, and to deny them access and control in the area designated for the Jewish People by the League of Nations is a serious infringement of international law.

The Origin and Nature of the “Mandate for Palestine”

The “Mandate for Palestine,” an historical League of Nations document, laid down the Jewish legal right to settle anywhere in western Palestine, a 10,000-square-miles area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.- Eli E Hertz.

The first to break this agreement was the British Government itself.  Arabs were allowed to illegally mass immigrate into Eretz Israel, while Jewish immigration was greatly curtailed or completely blocked by the British.

In 1948 Robert F. Kennedy spent time in Israel researching a series of articles for the Boston Post concerning the opposition to the  establishment of the Jewish State. It was not only the Arabs who worked to destroy the Jewish State but also the British.

Boston Post Headline –  “British Position Hit in Palestine. Kennedy says they seek to crush the Jewish Cause because they are Not in accord with it.”

“Once again the land of Israel was desolate and underdeveloped before the Jewish migration.- Robert F. Kennedy June 5, 1948.”

In an official document sent from the British Consulate in Israel to the British Government, it stated that the majority of the Arabs entered Israel after 1930. This is in agreement with Robert F. Kennedy’s articles written in 1948.

Jews coming to Eretz Israel after having survived the concentration camps of Europe were either returned to Europe, the place of their attempted genocide, or sent to the British colony of Cyprus.   The British showed little compassion to these severely traumatized victims of the Shoah, in Cyprus these survivors were interned in camps surrounded by barbed wire, thereby engendering in those Jewish victims,  the fear of a possible new Shoah . While these victims had the legal right by International Law to be sent to Eretz Israel, their historical homeland, to their historical capital of Jerusalem, which was never the capital of any other nation.

“According to the last  Mandate of Palestine of 1923, the West bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights , East Jerusalem and it’s Old City were all territories within the the Mandate for the Jewish People, and it was lawfully theirs.” - Eli E Hertz.

After the 1948 war of survival, the Jewish People were driven out of those territories, and a campaign for more massive immigration into those locations was perpetrated by Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia.

As Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad speaking on Al-Hekma TV said in march 2012: “Brothers, half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half Saudis.

The mass immigration into Israel by the Arabs from the neighbouring nations was not a refugee movement, but a massive illegal alien movement into Eretz Israel. This was an illegal land grab on the part of the Arabs, which did not work.
  • "There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation.”
  • “It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity... yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel".(*)-  Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council.
  •  Arab leaders comment on the Palestinian people  - (They do not exist.) under subtitle 11. Why do they say that the Palestinian people do not exist. Because they know that it is all one great deception, used as a tactic to combat Israel. The Arab lands surrounding Israel are all one nation, as the P.L.O. military commander stated, and the Arabs originally came from those same nations into Israel, also as the Arab Leaders have stated. Then they returned  to those very same nations and were not refugees but repatriated citizens of those very same nations.
The Arab leaders then turned their own returning citizens into destitute immigrants and thereby created the world’s first “Fake Refugees.” It was a cunning ploy but once exposed it can be stopped.

The Arabs who fled Israel because of their failed attacks and invasions were being repulsed by the Jewish People of Eretz Israel. In their 1948 war of survival and the 1967 war of Jewish survival; the adversary could never be considered as refugees.  They were merely repatriated, SENT BACK to their lands of origin, which was not Israel, but to other lands in Arabia. Therefore they are not refugees, no matter what the U.N. calls them and their brothers who are living in Eretz Israel also have no claim on the land of Israel.

Many of these illegal aliens still living in Israel, commemorate the Rebirth of Israel as a catastrophe or (Nakba). What kind of insanity is this, that someone can call the the existence of the nation  in which he is living a catastrophe?

The inaction of Israeli leadership has allowed the  Anti-Semitic United Nations to declare the Jewish lands of the Gaza Strip, Judah, Samaria and the Golan Heights as occupied territories not belonging to Israel. While they are actually legally, Biblically and Historically Jewish territory.

On  July 24, 1922, the final land for a National Home of Jewish People, was decided to be approximately 22,166 sq. km This land would encompass current Israel, Gaza strip, Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights.” - “Eli E. Hertz”

If one reads the “Mandate of Palestine” these invaders, not being included in that mandate, are therefore  illegal aliens

There is a great deal of discussion and concern about the return of the Jews, many visitors declared the land of Eretz Israel to be a desolate land before the Jewish return.  There is one testimony which cannot be denied, since it comes from the prophetic Word of the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel:

Isaiah 52:8-9,  8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion. 9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted His People, He hath redeemed Jerusalem. G-d states that when the Jews return, they will return to waste places and rebuild them.

Nehemiah 2:20 Therefore we His servants will arise and build; but ye have no portion, no right, nor memorial in Jerusalem.

There is no place in the Word of G-d that accommodates a two state solution and it is a contradiction to G-d’s plan for Israel as found in the Tanakh.

(This is part of a larger report on the same subject).

Israel reveals: Hamas exploits sick Palestinians for terrorism - Lilach Shoval

by Lilach Shoval

In new tactic, Hamas leaders in Gaza take advantage of Israeli gesture of allowing Palestinians into Israel for medical treatment to stage attacks in Israel, Shin Bet security agency says

Hamas' military wing has grown more sophisticated in recruiting personnel for its terrorist networks in Judea and Samaria, Israel's Shin Bet security agency revealed Thursday.

In an unusually detailed statement, the agency said that Hamas has increasingly taken advantage of Israel's humanitarian gestures to facilitate attacks.

"Activists from Hamas' military wing in the Gaza Strip have been recruiting in Judea and Samaria, training recruits with explosives and instructing them to find targets inside Israel," the agency said.

"This is a departure from the activities undertaken by Hamas in recent years, both in scope and in potential threat."

The agency said this activity is "designed to create a new reality [in Judea and Samaria] in light of the ongoing events in the Gaza Strip."

According to the Shin Bet, the effort is being overseen by the senior Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip. A substantial part of the mechanism includes exploiting the special permits Israel grants Gazans for emergency medical care in Israel.

"To establish contact with operatives in Judea and Samaria, Hamas exploits residents of Gaza who have permits to receive life-saving care in Israeli hospitals," the Shin Bet said.

One example provided was of Nueima Mukdad, a 53-year-old Palestinian mother of nine who accompanied her 47-year-old sister to Israel in August when the latter was undergoing cancer treatment.

After entering Israel, the two sisters met in Ramallah with Hamas activist Fouad Dar Halil from Sinjil, a small village nearby, who had served 14 years in an Israeli prison for his role in major terrorist attacks.

They handed him a suitcase with a secret letter, in which the Hamas military wing in Gaza asked him to carry out Hamas attacks in Israel and recruit others to join him.

In the letter, the military wing promised that it would help Halil obtain weapons and funding for carrying out the attacks, as well as provide him with instructional videos on how to make bombs using new techniques that have never been used before in Judea and Samaria. Halil complied with their request.

According to Israeli officials, the terrorist networks that Hamas established in Judea and Samaria in this manner were directed to carry out terrorist attacks against Israeli targets as quickly as possible, to force Israel to confront escalation on two fronts rather than just in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas' efforts in Judea and Samaria were discovered after the arrest of Ayus Rajoub, a 25-year-old Hamas operative who lives near Hebron.

Rajoub was arrested on Sept. 23, and in an unusual step, the Shin Bet released a tape of his interrogation. In it, Rajoub reveals that he was promised financial help by Hamas' military wing, because it wanted Judea and Samaria residents to stage major attacks inside Israel, in shopping malls, hotels, buses and trains.

Rajoub was hoping to carry out the attacks in early October. He had recruited operatives from a nearby village and told them to find targets for attacks inside Israel, as well as prepare explosives for a bomb while he was building the detonator, as per instructions from the Gaza Strip.

"This adds to a long list of attempts by Hamas' military wing to stage attacks by means of recruiting activists in Judea and Samaria," a senior Shin Bet official said.

"This has led to the arrest of hundreds of young activists in Judea and Samaria, including female students and young women.

"This is how Hamas' military wing sabotages the lives of Palestinians in Judea and Samaria, taking them down the dark path of terrorism."

The Fracturing of France - Giulio Meotti

by Giulio Meotti

French authorities seem to ignore that the vast majority of terrorists from France -- were born in France. They were perfectly "integrated". They rejected it.

  • In a new program, Macron's government is offering Arabic lessons in France's public schools to children as young as six years old, purportedly to facilitate integration.
  • French authorities seem to ignore that the vast majority of terrorists from France have been French citizens, who spoke a perfect French and, unlike their parents, were born in France. They were perfectly "integrated". They rejected it.

Gérard Collomb (center), France's Interior Minister until last month and currently Mayor of Lyon, is apparently pessimistic about the situation in his country. "It's difficult to estimate but I would say that in five years the situation could become irreversible. Yes, we have five, six years to avoid the worst," he said recently. (Photo by Aurelien Meunier/Getty Images)

US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron engaged in a public diplomatic clash just days before Trump visited France this month. The spat began when, in a radio interview, Macron suggested that Europe needed an army to protect itself from the US. "We have to protect ourselves with respect to China, Russia and even the United States of America," said Macron.

Protecting France from the United States? In a November 11 speech commemorating World War I, Macron in a diplomatic welcome to his guest, attacked "nationalism". President Trump had proudly called himself a "nationalist" less than three weeks before.

Macron, it seems, was using the armistice signed in 1918 to forget what is going on in France in 2018.

Gérard Collomb, France's Interior Minister until last month and currently Mayor of Lyon, is apparently pessimistic about the situation in his country, according to comments reported by Valeurs Actuelles. "People do not want to live together," Collomb lamented, continuing that the responsibility for security during the recent immigration has been "huge." Collomb also warned that there is only a "little time" to improve the situation. "It's difficult to estimate but I would say that in five years the situation could become irreversible. Yes, we have five, six years to avoid the worst," he added.

And the worst will be a "secession", or as Gilles Kepel, the French specialist on Islam, called it: "La fracture."

Macron, however, does not seem particularly receptive to Collomb's warning. A man reportedly shouting "Allahu Akbar" stabbed a police officer in Brussels this week, during a state visit by Macron to the Belgian capital -- the first for a French president since Mitterrand visited there in the 80s. Macron also went to Brussels' Molenbeek district, which he defined "a territory marked by the image of the terrorist drama and also a place of initiatives, sharing and integration". Sharing and integration?

Eight people were arrested in a March 2018 counter-terror raid in Molenbeek. A confidential report revealed last year that police in the same Brussels district uncovered 51 organizations with suspected ties to jihadist terrorism. Many of the suspects involved in the Paris and Brussels terror attacks either lived in, or operated, from Molenbeek. As Julia Lynch wrote in The Washington Post regarding Molenbeek:
"One of 19 "communes" in the Brussels metro area, the neighborhood was home to one of the attackers in the 2004 commuter train bombings in Madrid and to the Frenchman who shot four people at the Jewish Museum in Brussels in August 2014. The Moroccan shooter on the Brussels-Paris Thalys train in August 2015 stayed with his sister there.
If there is a place where Collomb's explanation about "secession" is not only a warning but already a reality, that place is Molenbeek. Roger Cohen, in The New York Times, called it "the Islamic State of Molenbeek." And such districts are not on a Belgian phenomenon. "Today, we know that there are 100 neighbourhoods in France that have potential similarities with what happened in Molenbeek", said France's then Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Patrick Kanner, in 2016. One is the town of Trappes, not only famous for the international soccer star Nicolas Anelka, but also for the number of jihadists from there who went to fight in Syria or Iraq.

In France, six planned terror attacks have been foiled this year, the Secretary of State to the Minister of the Interior, Laurent Nunez, disclosed. "Since November 2013, 55 planned Islamist attacks were foiled thanks to the action of the intelligence services, including six this year", Nunez said.

In the last few months, the current French scenario has not been dominated by new big terror attacks, but by a daily rain of intimidation. A Frenchman in his 60s was walking down a Paris street with wrapped Christmas gifts last week, when a stranger knocked off his eyeglasses before slapping him. "That's what we do to the infidels", the attacker said to the man. A few days before that, a French Jewish citizen was also attacked in the street by three men.

On the ideological front, "Macron is following in the footsteps of presidents who have tried, and failed, to establish an 'Islam of France'", Politico reported. According to the Wall Street Journal:
"Now President Emmanuel Macron's government is considering giving parents a secular alternative to that intertwining of Arabic and Islam by prodding more of France's public schools to offer children as young as age 6 Arabic lessons..."
Robert Ménard, the mayor of the southern town of Béziers, declared that "teaching Arabic will create more ghettos". French authorities seem to ignore that the vast majority of terrorists from France have been French citizens, who spoke a perfect French and, unlike their parents, were born in France. They were perfectly "integrated". They rejected it.

The confirmation of the Islamist wave came last September in a shocking report from Institut Montaigne entitled, "The Islamist Factory." It details the extreme level of radicalization of the French Muslim society. According to its director, Hakim El Kharoui, extremist Muslims in France are "creating an alternative society, parallel, separate. With a key concept: halal." Macron has done almost nothing to stop this expansion.

"Two or three Salafist mosques were closed in 18 months, [but] foreign funding of mosques was not banned," said National Front party leader Marine Le Pen recently. The goal of foreign funding has been detailed by the former chairman of the Christian Democratic Party, Jean-Frédéric Poisson, in his new book, "Islam, Conquering the West". "The expansion of Islam in the West is part of a strategic plan developed by the 57 states that make up [the Organisation of] Islamic Cooperation -- a sort of Muslim United Nations -- which theorized the spread of Sharia law in Europe", Poisson said in an interview this month. "They openly declared the ambition to install a 'substitution civilization' in the West."

There is, however, more than the cultural level. Philippe De Villiers, a politician and essayist close to Macron, recently evoked a phrase coined by his brother, General Pierre de Villiers, the former head of the French military. General de Villiers had warned Macron about a possible internal implosion in the volatile Parisian suburbs: "the darker sides of the City of Light". According to Philippe De Villiers, his brother would have said to Macron: "If the suburbs revolt, we would not be able to cope with it, we cannot afford to face it, we do not have the men."

Two journalists with the mainstream newspaper Le Monde, Gérard Davet and Fabrice Lhomme, recently published a book entitled Inch'allah : l'islamisation à visage découvert ("If Allah Wills: The Exposed Face of Islamization"), an investigation of the "Islamization" of the large Parisian suburb of Seine-Saint-Denis. There and in many other suburbs, anti-Semitism is rising. According to the French Prime Minister Eduard Philippe, recorded anti-Jewish "acts" rose by 69% in the first nine months of 2018. Francis Kalifat, president of the official body that represents the French Jewish communities, has called anti-Semitism "a cancer."

In a report this summer from Paris, The New York Times detailed the Jewish exodus from the multicultural suburbs: "More than 50,000 have moved to Israel since 2000, compared with about 25,000 French Jews who left between 1982 and 2000". There is also an internal exodus:
"In Aulnay-sous-Bois, the number of Jewish families dropped to 100 in 2015 from 600 in 2000; in Le Blanc-Mesnil, to 100 families from 300; in Clichy-sous-Bois, there are now 80 Jewish families, down from 400; and in La Courneuve, there are 80 families, down from 300."
"We may be living the end of a civilization -- ours," says Philippe de Villiers, a French politician and novelist.
"There are two points in common between the decay of the Roman Empire and our own decay. The Roman senatorial nobility, who thinks only of adding a layer of porphyry to their bathtubs, no longer considers the limes, the border of the Empire, as an emergency to secure".
It seems that Macron has been busy only in adding a layer of porphyry to the Frances "grandeur".

Last year, Macron presented himself as the candidate making a "a break with the system." In five years, his presidential mandate will be over. According to his former Interior Minister, Gérard Collomb, these will probably be the last years before the real "break" could become irreversible. Not only for France, but also for Europe.

Words vs. Violent Acts - Howard Rotberg

by Howard Rotberg

Why the Left wants to confuse us about the meaning of “protest.”

The Cambridge English Dictionary defines the noun protest as: “a strong complaint expressing disagreement, disapproval, or opposition.” It defines the verb protest: "to express disagreement with, disapproval of, or opposition to something by complaining strongly about it." In both cases, expressing disagreement accords with our Western traditional values as being a part of our value of freedom of expression.

In neither case does the expression relate to violent acts. Thus, traditionally, protest that turns violent is distinguished from protest that may involve marching, carrying signs, and chanting. So, when parties misdescribe as a protest something that involves damage to property or injury to persons, they are in fact failing to recognize that Western constitutions only give freedom to protest by means of expression (through spoken or written words) and not by means of violent acts.

It must be understood that a failure to use the modifier peaceful or violent when it comes to a protest, means that the speaker or writer, television host or reporter, has an underlying tolerance of violent protest as he or she has no intent to assert the difference.

Why do Leftists think it appropriate to try to knock down the doors to the Senate during the Kavanaugh hearing or threaten administration officials when they dine in restaurants? Is that legitimate protest?

We have recently seen a violent protest by Hamas militants and followers trying to push through the barbed wire fencing that protects Israeli towns and villages near Gaza from terrorists who plainly state that they want to kill Jews – not just Israeli soldiers but all Jews.

The use of the word “protest” to describe the push to cross the border (or under the border through a multitude of underground tunnels) obfuscates not only this push, but also the use of incendiary devices that float across the border and then burn everything where they land, including agricultural crops, forests and housing.

This “protest” is really intended to draw Israel into military operations, in order to justify what has just occurred this past week - that is, the firing of hundreds of missiles from their launching pads, which sometimes are in apartment buildings, schools, hospital and mosques, which, if Israel fires back against every launching site, they can be seen as the side that murdered “civilians”. In a weaponized society like Hamas-controlled Gaza, everything from television programming for children to sermons by Imams pound the theme that the Jewish state is somehow illegitimate and it is the duty of every Muslim to destroy the Jewish state, and, to achieve that end, support violent terrorism. They hope that the Western media will call it “protests” against a country that supposedly is an “occupier.”  In fact, it was under the leadership of a man the media called “right wing” – Ariel Sharon – that Israel gave Gaza to the Muslim residents and forced the removal of Jewish Gazans. No occupation there.

Here are some examples of how American leftist Democrats are confusing words with violent actions when the apply the term “protest” to both of them.

Let us examine some quotes from an older American socialist politician – Bernie Sanders – and then a younger American socialist politician – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Sanders, in the face of the violent Gaza protests, storming of the border, and launching of incendiary devices, immediately tweeted out on March 31st, 2018 that “The killing of Palestinian demonstrators by Israeli forces in Gaza is tragic. It is the right of all people to protest for a better future without a violent response (from Israel.)” Again, Sanders’ use of words like “protest and “demonstrators” is disingenuous. The Cambridge English Dictionary defines “demonstrator” thus: “a person who marches or stands with a group of people to show that they disagree with or support something or someone.”

Is Sanders so blinded by hate towards the Jewish state, for whatever psychological reason that might exist in his mind as a Jew himself, that he fails to see the violence among the “demonstrators”?

Sanders is so fixated on his friends the Gazans that he has attempted to minimize the role of Hamas and Iran, by recently making a video limited to regurgitated propaganda directly from individual Gazans. The notorious Israel hater Peter Beinart, writing in the anti-Israel Jewish publication The Forward on June 11th this year, exults over any company he can get in his cause of harming Israel, by focusing on the sad young women in Sanders’ video, who want to blame Israel for the fate of Gaza when Israel gave them the land in the unrealistic hope that these Arabs would build a peaceful, prosperous state.

It was only after continued Hamas actions turning Gaza into a military base complete with Iranian missiles used against Israeli civilians and underground tunnels and rocket launchers from the roofs of apartment buildings, to the Palestinians' “protest” and worse. But because Israel is wrong to defend itself in the eyes of haters like Beinart and Sanders, we have Beinart saying:  “Criticizing Hamas is both legitimate and necessary. But Sanders’ video shows how the media’s obsession with Hamas obscures the human causes of Palestinian protest, and the human consequences of Israel’s brutal response.”

Just as they mix up the words “protestors” and “terrorists” these Jewish Israel haters, mix up cause and effect. The current effect was caused not by Israel which pulled out of the land, but now has to set up buffer areas to protect its citizens on the other side of the fence. Israel now finds itself lacking international support for its position of defending against Iranian missiles which shall only gain in accuracy. They don’t want to send their troops into Gaza to destroy the missiles being used against Jewish civilians. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is apparently being told by his generals that such a mission would be too costly to both the soldiers and the weaponized civilians alike.

And so Netanyahu dithers and the Israelis might well have to go to the polls to elect someone who promises action against the terrorists, so that Israelis from the south of the country don’t have to sleep in bomb shelters. Everyone knows that the Iranian-made missiles now can reach Israeli larger cities in the south, like Ashkelon and Beersheva. When any attempts are made to bolster Israeli defenses, it elicits a chorus from the Islamists, and from their friends the leftist Israel-haters, that Israel is an “occupier” – another term meant to close off intellectual inquiry, rather than evaluate how a liberal democracy can possibly protect its citizens from Islamist terrorist forces. Remember, it is the Arabs who flout all the laws of warfare, by not dressing their terrorist “soldiers” in uniforms and by enlisting women and children into their terrorist army. It is the Israelis who drop leaflets warning civilians away from a prospective military target.

According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the fire-causing kites launched from Gaza to Israeli farms constitute what is being called a “Kite War”. The use of that term certainly describes the situation more clearly than hiding the facts by using the term “protest.” Certainly the protest is now a war. The problem is that the ideological pacifists make common cause with the anti-Semites to argue that the Jewish state alone among nations has no right to protect its citizens because there is no “war” but only a “protest”. The Australian network, however, seems to be able to see when a protest becomes a war:
The Israeli Foreign Ministry says kites dangling burning cloth or embers have caused more than 400 bushfires across swathes of land, destroying an estimated 7,000 hectares of land, killing wildlife and costing about $2 million in damage.
Balloons have also been found in southern Israel with gasoline or flammable gas inside.
Not all kites have caused fires. But those that do have caused damage not only to land or property, but also psychological stress to communities and residents, particularly in southern Israel.
One of the kite launchers, an 18-year-old who asked to withhold his name for fear of Israel targeting him, said the trend started with bored teens flying Palestinian flags.
We wanted to provoke the Israelis more, so we attached a burning rag to the kite. Thanks to God's will, the thread was cut and the kite fell on the other side and started a fire. This is how we got the idea," he said, adding that a kite only cost $1 to make and a balloon just 50 cents.
Unless there are 15 to 20 fires, we don't consider this a good day."
And now we turn to the young socialist, 29-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whom the leftist media is promoting as the role model for young Democrats.

After 60 Palestinian paramilitary forces and their supporters, participating in the 2018 Gaza border actions, were killed on May 14, 2018, Ocasio-Cortez criticized the Israel Defense Forces' use of deadly force, tweeting, "This is a massacre. I hope my peers have the moral courage to call it such. No state or entity is absolved of mass shootings of protesters. There is no justification. Palestinian people deserve basic human dignity, as anyone else. Democrats can't be silent about this anymore." In a subsequent interview, she said, "The idea that we are not supposed to talk about people dying when they are engaging in political expression just really moved me."

Nowhere else in America today do we see the confusion between military-backed terror and “political expression” in such stark and ignorant terms. If she is the future of the Democratic Party, and Islamist terrorism is to be viewed as “political expression,” and Islamist anti-Israel Democrats like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar from increasingly Muslim states like Michigan and Minnesota take office, God help us.

In my study of ideologies in my books Tolerism: The Ideology Revealed and The Ideological Path to Submission ... and what we can do about it, I study the ideological bases for political action and inaction. I study the threats to freedom from Islamist Sharia Law, jihad, abuse of women, children, ethnic and religious minorities. What we see happening with the leftist hatred of Israel is an attempted ideological takeover of our language. Leftists seek to influence debate, not by intellectual arguments, but by mis-using terms like “protest” and “demonstrator” to portray evil-doers as simple protestors. They have declared war on our morality by declaring war on our language. Are we getting used to this war as Leftist academics inflict upon us such confused terms as “safe spaces” and “safetyism”, “micro-aggressions”, “trigger warnings” and “intersectionality”? Read the great book by Lukianoff and Haidt entitled "The Coddling of the American Mind."

There is another term in vogue by the Leftists – the word “resist.”

The Cambridge English Dictionary defines the term as a verb as follows: “to fight against something or someone that is attacking you.” And it defines “resistance” as “a situation in which people or organizations fight against something or refuse to accept or be changed by something.”

Of course, there is the term “The Resistance,” which refers to “an organization that secretly fights against an enemy that has taken control of its country.” And so there was the French Resistance that fought against the Nazis and the French collaborationist Vichy government.

How many of us feel uncomfortable with the use of the term “resist” when it comes to fighting against, or refusing to accept, the duly elected President of the United States? Does incitement to violence against political foes connote anything other than an attempt to overthrow a legitimately elected President?

Does the use of this term connote a no-holds barred set of actions and words meant to do anything necessary to achieve such resistance?

As reported in Real Clear Politics on August 30th,
President Trump said the so-called 'Resistance' is ‘resisting the will of the American people’ at a campaign rally in Evansville, Ind. for Republican. U.S. Senate candidate Mike Braun.
"The so-called resistance is mad because their ideas have been rejected by the American people," Trump said Thursday. "We're getting rid of those bad ideas one by one, so fast. And it is driving them crazy."
It is much easier to protest against President Trump and pretend to “resist” him than it is to try to understand what the West can and should do to defend itself against the Islamist terrorism. It is also easier for pacifist-inclined Americans to pretend that 9/11 was not the start of a war against America by the Islamists but that it was just another  “protest.” If Pearl Harbor happened today, would people assert it was just a Japanese protest against an American military build-up?

It is hard to understand that creative violent protests are aimed at getting militarily stronger countries to submit to the will of weaker countries. When the stronger country can no longer understand that free expression has to be non-violent expression and that it must not give in to resistance against lawful elections, we have a big problem.

We cannot let our enemies define our terms and our words. Doing so is another aspect of submission in the war being fought against the West.
