Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had his Hebrew Twitter/X account suspended overnight after just two posts.

"Account suspended. X suspends accounts which violate the X Rules," the statement on the account read.

Khamenei first opened his account on Saturday, writing in Hebrew, "In the name of Allah, the most compassionate, the most merciful."

Israeli users were quick to respond to Khamenei's tweet, with the Israeli emergency response service, ZAKA, commenting with the words of the Kaddish, the Jewish prayer for the dead.

In an additional post in Hebrew, referencing Israel's Saturday attack on Iran, the Islamic Republic's leader reportedly wrote, "The Zionist regime made a mistake and miscalculated regarding Iran. We will make it understand the power, capability, initiative, and determination of the Iranian nation."

Khamenei made a similar comment on his English account, stating, "The Zionist regime made a wrong move two nights ago. We must make them understand the power, determination, and initiative of the Iranian people.

"Our officials should be the ones to assess and precisely apprehend what needs to be done (to show the power of Iranian people to enemy) and do whatever is in the best interests of this country and nation," he added.

Khamenei further wrote, "Zionists are making a miscalculation with respect to Iran. They don't know Iran. They still haven't been able to correctly understand the power, initiative, and determination of the Iranian people. We need to make them understand these things."

Operation Days of Repentance

In the early hours of Saturday, Israel carried out Operation Days of Repentance, attacking some 20 military sites in Iran.

The purpose of the strikes, carried out in three waves, was to damage Iran's air defenses and its ability to produce ballistic missiles in the long term.

srael had vowed to respond to the Islamic Republic's October 1 attack, which saw Iran launch some 180 ballistic missiles at the Jewish State.
