The Prime Minister's Office confirmed that "any country that truly wants to help" with conducting airdrops of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip is "welcome to join us," in a post on X/Twitter on Wednesday.

"We airdropped aid to Gazan civilians and we called on other nations to join us. Some have already done so," the PMO added.

"Hamas stole food from its own people. Israel acted," the PMO stated.

"We secured the skies, secured the drops, and made sure the food got through," the PMO continued.

Meanwhile, the IDF, led by the Coordinator for the Government's Activities in the Territories (COGAT), facilitated the entry of 32 aid packages via airdrop into the enclave on Wednesday afternoon, the military confirmed.

UAE, Jordan, Egypt already assisting with airdrops

The UAE, Jordan, and Egypt all cooperated in the aid packages, which contained food for residents in both the south and north of the enclave, the military noted.

This follows 52 aid packages being airdropped on Tuesday.
