Illegal Alien Voting - Lloyd Billingsley

by Lloyd Billingsley

State Department investigation provides insight on Democrats’ imported electorate.

President Donald Trump estimated that three to five million illegals had caused him to lose the popular vote, which Hillary Clinton carried by 2.8 million votes. Trump duly launched a commission on voter fraud headed by vice president Mike Pence and Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach. That probe had Democrats bellowing through their bullhorns.

“There’s simply no evidence of widespread voter fraud in this country. Period.” That was California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, 84, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, who is seeking another term next year. As it happens, Hillary Clinton’s popular vote victory was entirely due to California, where she got more than 4.3 million votes than Trump. Could any of those votes [have] been fraudulent?  California’s secretary of state Alex Padilla won’t let anybody see the data.

“California’s participation would only serve to legitimize the false and already debunked claims of massive voter fraud made by the President, the Vice President, and Mr. Kobach,” Padilla said in a  statement. “The President’s Commission is a waste of taxpayer money and a distraction from the real threats to the integrity of our elections today: aging voting systems and documented Russian interference in our elections.”

As Fusion GPS confirms, the Russian interference tilted to Hillary’s side. As that story plays out, an investigation by the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service has turned up evidence about how illegals do in fact vote.

Based on that investigation, a federal grand jury in Sacramento recently returned a nine-count indictment against Gustavo Araujo Lerma, 62, and his wife Maria Eva Velez, 64. Araujo is charged with aggravated identity theft, passport fraud, conspiracy to commit unlawful procurement of naturalization and citizenship, and five counts of voting by an alien.

As the court has documented, Araujo applied for U.S. passports under the assumed identity of Hiram Enrique Velez, a deceased U.S. citizen “whose identity Araujo fraudulently used for over 25 years.” During that time, the Mexican national obtained legal permanent resident status and ultimately U.S. citizenship for Velez, his wife. The couple had previously married in Mexico but did so again in Los Angeles in 1992 under the fake identity. This allowed Velez illegally to obtain status as the purported wife of a U.S. citizen.

The court is also charging that Araujo “committed illegal alien voting” by using the identity of Hiram Velez in numerous federal, state and local elections. So contrary to Feinstein and Padilla, there is evidence of voter fraud, and it’s easy to pull off.

Like the assassin in The Day of the Jackal, a person simply digs up records of someone who passed away, then steals the identity of the deceased. Frederick Forsythe’s novel was published in 1971 but nobody in America wised up to the trick. That’s how Gustavo Araujo got away with it for 25 years, brought in other illegals, and illegally voted in federal, state and local elections.

Nearly three million illegals live in California and the true count is doubtless much higher. It’s reasonable to believe that many others have “committed illegal alien voting” and other document fraud, which is not a victimless crime.

“Document and benefit fraud poses a severe threat to national security and public safety,” ICE explains, “because it creates a vulnerability that may enable terrorists, criminals and illegal aliens to gain entry to and remain in the United States.”

As readers might recall, the “Jackal,” stole the identity of Charles Calthrop to enter France in a quest to assassinate president Charles De Gaulle. He failed, but in the real world of California, Jose Ines Garcia Zarate gunned down Kate Steinle and Luis Bracamontes murdered police officers Danny Oliver and Michael Davis.

Neither killer was supposed to be in the United States and neither case evoked much concern from Sen. Feinstein or governor Jerry Brown. Their collaboration with an imported electorate overrides any concern for public safety.

Brown has signed sanctuary state legislation and his secretary of state is one of 20 nationwide who refuses to release voter information to federal investigators. With at least 11 million illegals in the country, doubtless many more, U.S. citizens and legal immigrants can be forgiven for giving President Trump the benefit of the doubt.

The State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service should cross-check every passport application with birth and death records, a simple matter in the computer age. As with Gustavo Araujo, they need to see how many false-documented illegals are voting in federal, state and local elections. Maybe some are even running for office.

Meanwhile, other federal agencies are also on the job. In the interest of public safety, Homeland Security Investigations has deployed a Document and Benefit Fraud Task Force. HSI has set up a toll-free hotline, 1-866-DHS-2-ICE, and even offers an online tip form.

Despite official obstructionism, U.S. citizens and legal immigrants can play a role against document fraud and illegal alien voting. As they say, ¡SĂ, se puede!”
