Arab League tells Israel to stop Jewish prayers at the Temple Mount - Christine Douglass-Williams

Since when must Jews be in obedience to Muslim leaders?

The Arab League called on Israel on Thursday to end Jewish prayers inside the compound of Islam’s third holiest shrine in East Jerusalem, warning it was a flagrant affront to Muslim feelings that could trigger wider conflict.

In Islam, Muslims are superior to Jews, Christians and every other faith. The 1400-year history of Islamic conquest speaks for itself, but not loud enough, evidently, in the face of ongoing propaganda.

Jews have every right to pray at the Temple Mount. Archeological evidence has proven the existence of the two ancient Jewish Temples on the that location.

The first Temple was built by King Solomon, and was destroyed by the Babylonians. The Jews returned from exile and built a second Temple, which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 C.E.

Jerusalem, on the other hand, was never holy to Muslims, nor is it mentioned anywhere in the Quran. Muslims turn to Mecca to pray. Conquest, however, is the sustained history of Islam. It’s how they took the entire Middle East and continue to attack the historic right of Jews to their small piece of land.

A serious problem with the Muhammad story is the claim that he prayed in al-Aqsa (the furthest mosque) in Jerusalem. There were no mosques in Jerusalem until after the Islamic (Arab) conquest in the late 630s. Jerusalem was taken in 638, six years after Muhammad’s death. The al-Aqsa Mosque was not built until 705.

Despite history and all facts that indicate the Palestinian goal to rid the region of Israel from the River to the Sea, Jews are persistently provoked with lies told by Palestinians and supported by the Muslim ummah.

“Arab League urges Israel to stop Jewish prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque,” by Suleiman Al-Khalidi, Reuters, April 20, 2022:

AMMAN, April 21 (Reuters) – The Arab League called on Israel on Thursday to end Jewish prayers inside the compound of Islam’s third holiest shrine in East Jerusalem, warning it was a flagrant affront to Muslim feelings that could trigger wider conflict.

They said while Israel was restricting the right of worship of Muslims in Jerusalem’s Old City, ultra-nationalist Jews under police protection were being allowed at the height of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan to enter the Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

Sitting atop the walled Old City plateau, the site is known to Muslims as Haram al Sharif (Noble Sanctuary) and to Jews as the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism, where they believe two ancient temples were located.

“Our demands are clear that Al-Aqsa and Haram al Sharif in all its area is a sole place of worship for Muslims,” Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al Safadi told reporters alongside the Arab League chief Ahmed Aboul Gheit after an emergency meeting in Amman on the matter.

Gheit said Israel was violating centuries-old policy according to which non-Muslims may visit the Al-Aqsa compound, Islam’s third most sacred site after Mecca and Medina, but not pray there…..
