'What you choose is what you get - we promised we would do this,' MK Michal Woldiger tells Israel National News.

Deputy Finance Minister Michal Woldiger (Religious Zionism) on Monday called for the Knesset to reach broad agreements on the other sections of the judicial reform.
Regarding the reduction of the reasonableness standard, which passed its second and third Knesset readings on Monday, Woldiger told Israel National News - Arutz Sheva that she felt "a feeling of joy. What you choose is what you get, and we promised that we would do this. I have to say that this amendment was so important, and there was a consensus. And so it's not that I don't understand the pain of those protesting outside, but still, I am happy that we did this."
She emphasized, "Viewers should not misunderstand. We are on break, but that does not mean that we don't work. We definitely think that we need to fix the judicial system - the system does not work as it should. A strong court is something that I and you also want."
"The next goal is the Judicial Selection Committee," she added, "but we definitely want to do this with a broad consensus."
"I call on my friends in the opposition: Let's talk. The goal is a varied court, they also want this. I hope that we will be able to reach a broad consensus. We tried until the last moment, but we understood there was no one to talk to, and so as the responsible adult, we needed to understand that there is a country here and we need to govern. I hope that the next amendments we can do with a broad agreement."
