A majority of Americans -- 58 percent --
disapprove of President Barack Obama's handling of foreign policy,
according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
This marks the highest disapproval rate of
Obama's foreign policy since he took office in 2009. Notably, nearly a
third of Democrats expressed disapproval of Obama's foreign policy.
The poll found that 52 percent of Americans disapprove of how Obama is dealing with the current crisis in Iraq.
Obama's overall approval rating stands at only 40
percent, while 54 percent of Americans disapprove of his performance in
office.
