Searches underway in Jerusalem to locate terrorists - and possible additional bombs.

The two bombs which exploded at bus stops in Jerusalem Wednesday morning were detonated by terrorists remotely, a senior police official told Kan.

“These were large bombs, which were set off apparently from a distance, after being placed in bags filled with marbles and nails in order to increase the shrapnel effect and the number of people injured.”

Police believe both bombs were placed at the two bus stops by a single terrorist.

“The goal was to hurt as many people as possible. Terror attacks like this have more devastating outcomes than we are used to.”

One teenager boy was killed and eighteen other people injured in bombings at the entrance to Jerusalem and in the Ramot neighborhood Wednesday morning. One of the victims is listed in critical condition, with two more in serious condition.
