Iranian Israeli teams up with American film producer Guy Ross to produce daily Farsi-language news broadcasts on the Israel-Hamas war.

Israel's Public Diplomacy Directorate has launched a new Farsi-language news broadcast, geared towards the Iranian populace, both in Iran and abroad. The broadcasts are recorded in other languages as well, including French, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic.

The briefings, broadcast from Tel Aviv, provide daily updates on those injured in the war, how many people are confirmed held hostage by Hamas, and a short update on the IDF's operations in Gaza and other areas. The broadcasts also include short video clips pertaining to the war.

This week, the report included protests supporting Hamas, the increase in antisemitism worldwide, and the screening of an uncensored video of the Hamas massacre to MKs. It also included Hamas official Ghazi Hamad's promise to repeat the October 7 atrocities until Israel is annihilated.

The broadcaster is Beni Sabti, a 51-year-old Iranian Israeli who left Iran as a child, following the Iranian Revolution. Sabti spoke with NBC News about the new broadcast, saying, "We want to talk to the Iranian people directly without censorship and with accurate data to tell them about the killings and murder by Hamas and paint an accurate picture."

The broadcasts are produced by Guy Ross, American film producer from Los Angeles who happened to be visiting family in Israel on Oct. 7, along with a team of about 30 volunteers, who together with him are working around the clock to produce the news items.

Ross told NBC, "When you’re confronted with the materials and what happened, it’s shocking and reinforces the cause for which we are volunteering here."

Moshik Aviv, head of the Diplomacy Directorate, told NBC, "Maintaining a continuous flow of information is one of our primary goals."
