A disturbing look at what a leftist Prime Minister has done to his country.
If you want to understand the appeal and success of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, you first have to get through the “sexy” part.
From Glamour magazine, Vogue, Teen Vogue to Time magazine, for years the headlines have dripped with embarassing sexual dew.
These Photos of Young Justin Trudeau are Breaking Hearts All Over the Internet, Time magazine declared in 2017. Glamour Magazine followed suit with: “Young Justin Trudeau was a Regulation Hottie.” Given this sort of press, it’s no wonder that Trudeau won Vogue Canada’s 2015 “Sexiest Man Alive” contest with his “sleek suits and swagger.”
Even more embarrassing are the innumerable blogs featuring the PM as a teen in an open shirt and what looks like the very beginnings of a umbilical hernia on his torso.
The comments section on these blogs is equally off the charts, starting with Justin’s “spellbinding eyes,” “delicious locks,” and ending with the acte commentaire ultime, “it’s pretty much impossible not to drool over this thirst trap.”
The comments come mostly from young women but many appear to be considerably older, recalling the dicey, pay-for-play provocations in the 1967 film, The Graduate.
Everyone, it seems, wants “a piece” of Canada’s PM despite some pushback on the PM’s latest haircut in which those “delicious locks” gave way to comparisons of actor Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber.
The PM’s new haircut is definitely a sheltered workshop look or what you get after electroshock therapy.
It’s a hardcore butch look for the PM who was often bullied as a boy, according to his mother, Margaret, the fascinating diva of 1970’s New York City night life, aka Studio 54, who relished being photographed dancing with busboys and a young Mick Jagger.
In the 1970s, Margaret and her husband, Pierre Trudeau, the 15th PM of Canada, traveled to the Caribbean where they met Fidel Castro, a moment in time that later led to all sorts of rumors about who Justin’s father really was.
Was he really Castro’s spawn?
Trudeau’s locks were shorn, I suspect, to make way for Pope Francis’ visit to offer an official apology to Canada’s Native community for the Catholic Church’s role in the scandals surrounding that nation’s residential schools, in which numbers of Native students were physically and sexually abused, and then (according to the Leftist narrative) killed or starved to death after which they were thrown into massive unmarked graves by sociopath priests and nuns.
That’s the embellished version.
Lost in the MSNBC-style narrative was the fact that the Catholic Church didn’t force underage children of decent Native parents into these residential warehouses, but rather it was the Canadian government that did so.
The Catholic Church was indirectly “complicit” because it owned and operated the schools in question but they were coerced into accepting the children. To refuse to do so would have resulted in the government’s pulling the plug on the Church’s control of the educational system that grew out of the French Jesuit missions.
The father of the French mission system, Father Jacques Marquette, arrived in Quebec in 1666 and founded a mission there that taught the Natives how to read and write.
From what we know, Father Marquette was neither an abuser nor an evil man but very nearly a saint in his demeanor and endeavors. (A statue of Marquette stands in the United States Capitol building. It has not, as far as I know, been removed by leftist ideologues.)
Also lost in the residential school narrative was the fact that the so-called mass graves mentioned in the media were really old Native cemeteries where the custom had been to place wooden crosses that rot and crumble over time so that, if they are not replaced, the graves appear to be unmarked.
The wooden crosses on many of these graves were not replaced, hence their categorization as ‘mass unmarked graves.’
Immediately after Pope Francis’ apology visit, Trudeau and his family took off to Costa Rica for a two week vacation.
Much like El Salvador, Costa Rica -- despite the election this year of the (relatively) conservative Rodrigo Chaves as president -- has a rich history of leftist revolutionary activity.
Costa Rica also happens to be a favorite vacation spot for American ultra liberals (one need only Google the connection to find blogs entitled, “I Moved to Costa Rica to Escape Trump,” etc.)
When Trudeau became Canada’s PM in 2015, he told Canadians, “It’s time for a change in this country, my friends, a real change.” Then he went on to talk about a positive “agenda,” or “sunny ways for all Canadians.”
Canadian friends of mine at the time were all pretty much taken with Trudeau. They called him “the pretty one” but had little else to say, even though they were residents of Montreal and witness to the slow deterioration of that city a la US-Democrat controlled cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Montreal’s homeless population seemed to explode shortly after Trudeau’s victory, with hundreds of young people (panhandlers) lining the sidewalks of Saint-Denis Street in the city’s Latin Quarter. These weren’t “real” homeless, of course, but drug-addicted vagabonds who needed money for their next fix. By the same token, Saint Catherine Street also become awash in street crime so that visitors had to think twice about whether to go there after sunset.
The “real” Justin Trudeau -- the woke, precious Trudeau that he’s become today -- began to surface during his campaign to unseat Conservative party PM, Stephen Harper.
At that time, Trudeau challenged Harper’s support of a law that forbade immigrant Muslim women from wearing niqabs (or full face coverings) during citizenship ceremonies.
Harper’s position was supported by an astounding 82% of Canadians, and was framed as a women’s rights issue, whereas Trudeau turned it upside down and called it a blatant form of Islamophobia.
Trudeau’s “sunny ways” continued unchecked when he wore a pair of socks emblazoned with an Islamic crescent while marching in a pride parade. Since these were the years when ISIS was throwing gay men off buildings, sane Canadians noticed a strange disconnect. What, after all, was the PM trying to say?
Of course, when you reinvent yourself as a virtue-signaling icon, your past may come back to haunt you with the sting of a scorpion, which is what happened in Justin’s case when photos surfaced of him in brown face while he was a teacher at West Point Grey Academy.
For many public personalities in the 21st Century, this sort of thing usually spells the end of a career, but not for Justin because far too many Canadians were still talking about his six-pack abs and deep, smoldering stare.
Then came a number of scandals.
There was Elbowgate in 2016, when the newly-elected PM came into physical contact with two opposition Parliament members in the House of Commons session on a reading of Bill C-14 that proposed to grant death to persons whose extended assisted natural death was not reasonably foreseeable.
Wikipedia had this to say about Elbowgate:
“Trudeau grabbed Conservative MP Gord Brown by the arm and then inadvertently elbowed New Democratic MP Ruth Ellen Brosseau in the chest. Trudeau subsequently apologized and was not subject to parliamentary sanctions for the incident.
Once again, a mere apology had the PM skipping rope.
Then came the 2020 We Charity controversy when Ethics Commissioners found that members of the Trudeau family and cabinet “were inappropriately paid a significant amount of We Charity” money.
We Charity had been selected to run a $912 million Canada Student Service Grant to provide up to $5,000 for young people who volunteered for pandemic-related work.
That scandal was big new in many Canadian media outlets but never managed to come off in a major way, much like the Hunter Biden laptop scandal in the United States.
Unflappable, unstoppable and still winning hearts, the PM would then enact one of the world’s most draconian pandemic shut downs, and then keep those measures in lockdown mode well into 2022, causing even liberal critics to call it “an enduring and expensive fidelity to Covid-19 theater.”
Trudeau’s totalitarian stripes really showed in his invocation of the Emergencies Act during the infamous (and almost successful) Freedom Convoy protesting vaccine mandates and excessive lockdown measures.
On February 18, 2022, 1,000 police officers surrounded the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa and arrested hundreds of Freedom Convoy truckers.
“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took the rare step this week of declaring a national public order emergency — the first such declaration in half a century — to end the protests….. The move took aim at both protesters’ fund-raising, which has been deemed a criminal activity, and the demonstrators’ personal and business bank accounts,” The New York Times reported.
What is raiding the protesters’ personal and business bank accounts if not a new form of tyranny, one for which Trudeau should never have been forgiven.
Take any issue — guns, gender identity — and Trudeau will take the extreme woke path, whether it be praising gun confiscation that forces responsible gun owners to surrender their property to Canadian officials, or praising Canada’s prohibition on changing “gender identity” to conform to biological reality. (To counsel a “trans” child in Canada to accept biological reality might as well be illegal.)
Justin Trudeau will be Canada’s PM until 2025, thanks mostly to stupid, clueless woke Canadians like the one who wrote this post for the Huffington Post:
"Sexy, feminist, and capable of balancing a baby on one hand: Prime Minister Trudeau gets our vote.“
