Where is Nidal Sakr and Why Isn’t He in Jail? - Joe Kaufman

by Joe Kaufman

US Muslim Brotherhood operative who threatened President Trump’s life needs to be brought to justice.

March for Justice Chairman and Muslim Brotherhood operative Nidal Sakr has been living in the United States since he escaped Egypt, in March 2014, days before he was sentenced to death for the murder of an Egyptian police officer. While in the US, Sakr has repeatedly called for President Donald Trump’s execution, something that is punishable by US law. Whether serving his Egyptian sentence or his potential US sentence for his threats, he needs to be located so that he could be brought to justice.

Nidal Mohamed Sakr was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He describes himself as “US born from Palestinian origin.” In a videotaped lecture Sakr gave, in October 2012, he claimed that his mother is Egyptian and enlisted in the Muslim Brotherhood (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimin) at an early age, carrying weapons and ammunition for the group. He stated, “Let me be very clear about this. I was born into Ikhwan, and my mother actually is from the first generation of Ikhwan.”

Around 1970, Sakr joined a Brotherhood terrorist cell in Jordan that was conducting paramilitary operations against Israel. According to Sakr, the individual who recruited him into the cell was Abdullah Azzam, the future mentor of Osama bin Laden and co-founder of al-Qaeda. Also according to Sakr, he personally knew bin Laden. He stated, “Osama bin Laden, himself, was a student of Abdullah Azzam at King Abdul Aziz University. I know him personally. I know his brothers. I know his family.”

Years later, during the Arab Spring, Sakr and his convert wife, Sara Rae Bokker, were living in Egypt. According to Bokker’s Facebook page, which is packed with morbid graphics about death, she had arrived in Egypt in December 2003 and worked at the Jana Dan International School in Cairo from 2007 to 2014, first as a kindergarten teacher and then headmistress. While in Egypt, Sakr organized rallies for the Muslim Brotherhood and advised Brotherhood leadership. He, as well, served on the International Islamic Council for Dawah and Relief in Cairo, beginning in 2007.

Following the July 2013 coup against the government of newly elected Egyptian President and Brotherhood leader, Mohamed Morsi, by then-head of Egypt’s military and current Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the Brotherhood immediately became a target. On Facebook, Sakr describes an incident where he was shot at by the new government. He writes: “Can you Imagine How Horrendous to Be in the Crowd Fired At? I CAN. I Was Fired At by Sisi n RABAA [Square in Cairo] for 12 Hours NON STOP…”

In March 2014, Sakr left Egypt to return to the US. Upon arrival, he was placed in handcuffs and detained. This event took place merely days before he was sentenced to death in Egypt for the murder of an Egyptian police officer. Regardless of any of this, Sakr has been allowed to stay in the US and operate with impunity. Since he has been here, he has made a number of extremely disturbing statements, including calling for violence and even death for President Trump.

On October 30, 2017, Sakr tweeted, “EXECUTE SOB TRAITOR Donald Trump.” The same day, he tweeted, “Donald Trump, You Are TOAST… I GUARANTEE IT.” In September, Sakr wrote on Facebook: “FACTS ARE FACTS. Patriotic Americans Will Keep After SOB Donald Trump Until We Nail His ass. YOU WATCH!!” And in February, he warned Trump, “U come to ISLAM Or ISLAM WILL COME TO YOU.”

To issue a threat against the President of the United States is a federal crime. As stated in US Code Title 18, Section 871: “Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President… or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President… shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.”

Sakr has also leveled threats at the United States, herself, which he refers to as “evil America” and the “largest Global Terrorist.” This past December, he tweeted, “Down with America!!!” In November, he tweeted (in Arabic), “Jihad will topple all American dogs.” And in August, he wrote, “LET ME BE CLEAR. Like it or Not, America MUST/WILL PAY 4 War Crimes/Crimes Against Humanity/Support of Dictators/Terror Creation.”

In order for Nidal Sakr to serve his sentence, whether it be an American sentence for threatening the life of the President or his Egyptian death sentence, he needs to first be located. Authorities would do well to focus on the addresses he has provided for the corporation reports of his group, March for Justice.

March for Justice, an anti-Israel, pro-Brotherhood activist organization, was founded in Miami, Florida with Sakr as its Chairman, in July 2000. Sara Bokker (“Sara Rae”), his wife, was added as Executive Director, in April 2003. She has also served as Communications Director. The group is still active with both Sakr and Bokker serving as Directors. Their address is shown as: 3117 NEW YORK ST., MIAMI, FL 33133.

In addition to his Miami corporation, Sakr registered March for Justice in the state of California, on June 29, 2016. This was merely one day after Bokker filed for divorce from him and filed for custody of their children, on June 28th, though she sought dismissal of the case less than two months later. The address Sakr used for his California corporation was: 1355 DELAWARE ST APT 105, HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA 92648.

According to Sakr’s Facebook page, he currently lives in Miami. However, Sakr has spent the entire past month tweeting from Huntington Beach. Moreover, since June 2016, Bokker has been employed at the Institute of Knowledge, a Los Angeles-area Islamic prep school, whose instructor, Ahmed Billoo, has said that “Islam justifies” suicide bombings and describes the gruesome practice as an act of “courage.” These last couple details about Sakr’s whereabouts indicate a high probability that Sakr is presently residing in California.

Sakr is associated with al-Qaeda’s founders, including, by his admission, Osama bin Laden. Sakr has been involved in a terrorist cell operating out of Jordan and established to attack Israel. Sakr was sentenced to death overseas for the murder of an Egyptian police officer. Sakr threatened the life of the United States President. And Sakr has called for the downfall of America.

Nidal Sakr is a ticking time bomb, who is trained for violence and whose incitement could once again turn into deeds at any given moment. He needs to be taken into custody immediately.

Beila Rabinowitz, Director of Militant Islam Monitor, contributed to this report.

Joe Kaufman was the 2016 Republican nominee for United States House of Representatives in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District. He is an expert in the fields of counter-terrorism, foreign affairs and energy independence for America. He has been featured on all major cable networks, including Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, PBS and C-SPAN. Joe has been instrumental in getting terrorist charities shut down and terror-related individuals put behind bars. Exactly one month prior to the September 11 attacks, he predicted the attacks by stating in an article that “the 1993 World Trade Center bombing was no aberration” and that it would happen again.
