Others who gave closed-door testimony before House panels' President Biden impeachment inquiry were video taped.
First son Hunter Biden's testimony Wednesday before the House Judiciary and Oversight committees will reportedly not be video taped – like others were in the Republican-led President Biden impeachment inquiry.
The change of protocol is being reported by CNN based on the digital and cable news network said was sources familiar with the matter.
Hunter is one of several witnesses to appear before the panels, which are probing whether President Biden violated ethics by using his influence as vice president to enrich family members and himself in Hunter and brother Jim Biden's business dealing.
CNN also reports, based on the unnamed sources, that a transcript of Hunter Biden's testimony will be released quickly to the public, perhaps as quickly as within 24 hours of the testimony concluding.
Stakeholder agreed to the terms of the transcript release to try to avoid selective leaks.
