The Becerra-BLM Axis - Lloyd Billingsley

by Lloyd Billingsley

Persecuting police, ignoring illegal alien cop killers.

California attorney general Xavier Becerra, a former congressman once on Hillary Clinton’s short list as a running mate, will oversee the investigation into the police shooting of Stephon Clark in Sacramento on March 18. Anti-police mobs, some organized by Black Lives Matter, have since blocked access to Sacramento Kings games, halted traffic on Interstate 5, and shut down a Sacramento city council meeting.

On Friday, Clark’s family released a private autopsy showing that six bullets had struck Clark in the back. Results of the full investigation had not been released but a mob at city hall chanted “Fuck Sac PD,” and “the whole damn system is guilty as hell!”

Some protesters donned masks, chased innocent bystanders and as the Sacramento Bee reported, “tried to prevent media from photographing the conflict, at times grabbing cameras or holding up signs to block lenses.” The protests were “largely nonviolent, though passionate and confrontational” and more “social justice gatherings” had been planned.

One was organized by Jamier Sale of ANSWER, the Act Now to Stop War and End Racism coalition. The ANSWER website proclaims: “Trump’s choice of Bolton signals grave danger for Iran and North Korea.” The leftist group advocates for Palestinians and opposes the “illegal” blockade of Cuba, an all-white Communist dictatorship. In Sacramento Sale called for the firing of the officers in the confrontation with Clark.

Local establishment media portrayed Clark as a peaceful family man but his criminal record included arrests for robbery, pimping and domestic abuse. At the time of the shooting, Clark was still on probation for the robbery conviction.

On March 18, police were responding to a call about someone smashing car windows. Police in a helicopter spotted Clark shattering the glass door of a residence then jumping fences into the backyard of the home where Clark, 22, lived with his grandmother.

Officers Jared Robinet and Terrance Mercadal, an African American, (Sacramento police chief Daniel Hahn is also black) approached saying, “Show me your hands. Stop! Stop!” as Clark moved toward them holding an object they believed was a gun. The officers fired 20 shots at Clark, and no gun was found at the scene.

Clark’s family retained attorney Ben Crump, who represented the families of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. POTUS 44 advisor Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy and told reporters “Trump should speak out, and there should be policy.” Xavier Becerra was eager to join the investigation but California’s attorney general ignored the case of illegal alien cop killer Luis Bracamontes, then playing out in Sacramento court.

In October, 2014, the previously deported Mexican national gunned down police officers Danny Oliver and Michael Davis. Bracamontes told the court, “I wish I had killed more of the motherfuckers.” He called witness Anthony Holmes, whose car he had attempted to steal at gunpoint, a “nigger” and the Mexican shouted “black lives don’t matter!” at the jury.

Despite the violence, racism and weaponry – Bracamontes deployed an AR-15 – California attorney general Kamala Harris ignored the case. So has her replacement Xavier Becerra, and few in California are aware that the attorney general might have something to hide on a serious national security issue.

Becerra once headed the House Democratic Caucus and used the services of IT man Imran Awan, originally hired by DNC boss Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The unvetted Awan enjoyed access to the computers of 45 members of Congress, including members of the House Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees, but as Andrew McCarthy noted, Awan could not possibly have qualified for a security clearance.

Awan accessed a server controlled by Xavier Becerra, but when federal authorities requested the data all they got was a fake image. Becerra bailed from Congress to become attorney general in California must face the voters in November. DC judge Tanya Chutkan, a selection of POTUS 44, is delaying Awan’s trial until after the election to keep voters in the dark about the Democrat candidate.

Jerry Brown hailed Xavier Becerra as a “champion for all Californians” but he looks the other way when Mexican nationals violate U.S. immigration law and commit violent crimes. The MEChA alum showed little if any sympathy for the family of Kate Steinle, gunned down by repeatedly deported Mexican national José Inez García Zarate.

The alleged “champion for all Californians” did not speak out on the murder of police officers Danny Oliver and Michael Davis. Neither did his office lend support to the prosecution of the Mexican racist who murdered the officers. On the other hand, Becerra eagerly joined the chorus on the Clark case.

While anti-police mobs raged through the streets, Jerry Brown issued pardons for five illegals facing deportation and guilty of crimes such as kidnapping, robbery, vehicle theft and drug dealing. President Trump cited the pardon for “criminal illegal aliens” in a tweet, asking “Is this really what the great people of California want?
