Bestselling conservative author and anti-Critical Race Theory activist points the way toward American renewal.
Below is the video of remarks given by bestselling
conservative author and anti-Critical Race Theory activist Christopher
Rufo at the Freedom Center’s 2023 Restoration Weekend – just held Oct.
26-29 at the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans.
Don’t miss Mr. Rufo addressing America’s cultural revolution in this compelling speech:
IDF continues ground, air and naval strikes in Gaza following elimination of Mustafa Dalul, Commander of Hamas’ Sabra Tel al-Hawa Battalion.
The IDF and ISA killed the Commander of Hamas’ Sabra Tel al-Hawa
Battalion, and the IDF continues ground, air and naval strikes in Gaza,
the IDF and ISA announced in a joint statement.
IDF fighter jets,
acting on precise ISA and IDF intelligence, killed Mustafa Dalul,
Commander of the Sabra Tel al-Hawa Battalion. Since the beginning of the
war, Dalul played a central role in managing the combat against IDF
troops in Gaza. In recent years, Dalul held a number of positions in the
Hamas battalion and brigade of Gaza City.
In
addition, IDF fighter jets and artillery, directed by ground troops,
killed a number of terrorists who operated against the ground troops.
During searches in the area of Beit Hanoun, the troops located weapons,
intelligence material, an AK-47 rifle, submachine gun, magazines,
grenades, explosive devices, RPG, communication means, and maps.
On
Thursday night, IDF fighter jets struck terror infrastructure and
killed Hamas terrorists. In parallel, Israeli naval soldiers, directed
by ground troops, struck a number of buildings from which shots were
fired at the soldiers, as well as anti-tank missile launchers.
Iranian Israeli teams up with American film producer Guy Ross to produce daily Farsi-language news broadcasts on the Israel-Hamas war.
Israel's Public Diplomacy Directorate has launched a new
Farsi-language news broadcast, geared towards the Iranian populace, both
in Iran and abroad. The broadcasts are recorded in other languages as
well, including French, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic.
The
briefings, broadcast from Tel Aviv, provide daily updates on those
injured in the war, how many people are confirmed held hostage by Hamas,
and a short update on the IDF's operations in Gaza and other areas. The
broadcasts also include short video clips pertaining to the war.
This
week, the report included protests supporting Hamas, the increase in
antisemitism worldwide, and the screening of an uncensored video of the
Hamas massacre to MKs. It also included Hamas official Ghazi Hamad's promise to repeat the October 7 atrocities until Israel is annihilated.
The
broadcaster is Beni Sabti, a 51-year-old Iranian Israeli who left Iran
as a child, following the Iranian Revolution. Sabti spoke with NBC News about
the new broadcast, saying, "We want to talk to the Iranian people
directly without censorship and with accurate data to tell them about
the killings and murder by Hamas and paint an accurate picture."
The
broadcasts are produced by Guy Ross, American film producer from Los
Angeles who happened to be visiting family in Israel on Oct. 7, along
with a team of about 30 volunteers, who together with him are working
around the clock to produce the news items.
Ross told NBC,
"When you’re confronted with the materials and what happened, it’s
shocking and reinforces the cause for which we are volunteering here."
Moshik Aviv, head of the Diplomacy Directorate, told NBC, "Maintaining a continuous flow of information is one of our primary goals."
The coordinated raids and massacres on October 7 were possible only because of subtle interventions over two and a half years by the State Department and the White House, with indirect help from nonprofits like the Soros-funded International Crisis Group
Banner headline events almost always flow from quieter real-life
causes, and the worst attack on Israel in fifty years is not an
exception. The coordinated raids and massacres on October 7 were
possible only because of more subtle interventions over two and a half
years in rooms at the State Department and the White House, with
indirect help from nonprofits like the Soros-funded International Crisis
Group. These interventions were driven by a small network of
government and interest group insiders whose actions have gone
unreported in establishment media. Though their further consequences
aren’t yet clear, they’ll almost certainly involve a push to weaken both
Israel and an Israeli government resistant to accords with Iran.
The
interventions flowed from one motivation: the State Department’s
determination to achieve a “reset” with Iran, restoring the consensus
reached at the end of the Obama Administration through its 2015 nuclear
deal. This was the main priority of high-level department staff,
including Robert Malley, whose family history as well as his work at the International Crisis Group align him with pro-Iranian movers, and the recently-retired Wendy R. Sherman, whose legacy is the 2015 deal. These players, along with National Security staffer Brett McGurk, had been crucial in pushing the Obama-backed alignment with Iran. In the Biden Administration, working under Secretary of State Antony Blinken, they have had a supportive superior: a low-key gladhander who has made his career supporting whatever establishment foreign agenda is teed up for action. In this case, that foreign agenda, perhaps at the urging of ex-president Obama,
has been bringing Iran back to the negotiating table by reducing
Israel’s power in the region while sidelining Netanyahu, an ardent opponent of negotiations.
From Washington, these players have run a concerted effort in that direction. Peace negotiations or conversations with Iran continued consistently even as more evidence surfaced of Iranian aggression. Malley used his influence to help install a likely Iranian operative first at the State Department and then at the Pentagon -- part of a larger infiltration of agents, several of whom have links to the International Crisis Group. Antony Blinken announced the American-pushed ceding by Israel
of miles of potentially resource-heavy land to Lebanon, much of which
is controlled by Hezb’allah, a proxy for Iran. And, in the face of
August videos of Hezb’allah-trained fighters engaged in war games
training, U.S. officials urged Israelis to “de-escalate” and discuss “border demarcation.”
The Administration also tried to broker a normalization proposal between Israel and Saudi Arabia that included “dealing with” the Palestinian issue: a rebuke to the Trump Administration, which had bypassed Palestinian leadership in the Abraham Accords. As occurred during the Obama Administration,
Biden officials assured reporters that ‘there was ‘a common
understanding’ among all the leaders in the region” that the Palestinian
issue was key to normalization with Israel -- despite events during the
Trump Administration proving this untrue. Still, this false claim had
its own strategic logic, since linking Saudi-Israel normalization to an
unlikely peace with the Palestinian leadership diminished the
possibility of that normalization -- and kept Iran, which opposes it, at
the negotiating table.
Finally,
there was the push in Israel proper against Netanyahu, ostensibly meant
to stop Netanyahu’s coalition from limiting the discretionary powers of
Israel’s Supreme Court, which even non-supportive observers think is merited after the Court’s 30-year aggrandizement of power. In practice, it meant Blinken and Biden directing heavy public criticism at Netanyahu’s government and using American funds to support protests which paralyzed the country, drawing members of its security services into politics even as they vouched for the fact that Israel’s border with Gaza was secure.
These moves had real consequences on and after October 7. Hamas’s tactics were similar to those broadcast in the Hezb’allah wargames a few months earlier. Reports indicate
that Israel’s cyber defense system was compromised -- a suggestive fact
when it’s backlit against Iranian permeation of American defense
networks. Hezb’allah, more secure since the U.S.-backed Israel-Lebanon
agreement last year, launched rockets at Israel after Hamas’s invasion. Finally, in the wake of the attack, the Palestinian “issue” is in the forefront, Netanyahu is weakened, and Iran’s hand in the region is strengthened.
Already, the Administration is pushing to maximize these results. The White House is leaking its concerns that an Israeli attack could lead to a “regional conflagration” -- an early justification for limiting Israel’s response. In the face of a Wall Street Journal report alleging Iranian involvement in the planning of the attack, The New York Times reported
anonymous American officials claiming that “key Iranian leaders were
surprised by the Hamas attack.” Israel and the United States are gearing
up for a campaign against Hamas that’s explicitly compared to its campaign against ISIL -- one that in the hands of Robert Malley and Brett McGurk ended up strengthening Iran in 2015.
All the
while, as explicitly pro-Hamas support surfaces and is condemned,
establishment media’s rhetorical push favors neither Israel nor its
government. Reports and interviews in the Times and on MSNBC have insinuated or outright argued that Gaza’s undeniably immiserated reality made the crisis inevitable. The Times has focused on the fact that “severe divisions in Israel over a judicial overhaul” encouraged the attack and gone so far as to suggest that the Abraham Accordscaused the attack by antagonizing Palestinians. The New Yorker has emphasized the Netanyahu government’s lack of preparation and Palestinians’ desperation. Finally, when foreign networks in Washington do get reported on, they’re not Iran’s.
One of the reasons these narrative lines can get pushed is the selective silences of people, mostly Democrats and neoconservatives, who have long called themselves Israel’s friends but whose domestic loyalties are to the think tank and administrative nexus which helped make the attack possible: the one which effectively took power a quarter century ago and which has pushed the Middle East from one disaster to the next ever since. These establishment loyalists are ready to criticize institutions
for failing to condemn support of Hamas, but not to admit that the
roots of the attack on Israel go deeper: towards the heart of an
establishment that has systematically made itself unaccountable to the
American people and hospitable to ideologues running radicalisms inside
it. Until these players acknowledge this and address it, they’re
enabling it.
Creating a Palestinian state in the West Bank would mean turning it into another Iran-led base for Jihad against Jews.
Every Palestinian child knows
that if presidential elections were held today, the terrorist group
Hamas would win. The most recent PSR poll, published one month before
the Hamas massacre, showed that 58% of the Palestinians would vote for
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh as opposed to 37% for Palestinian Authority
President Mahmoud Abbas. The poll also showed that 58% of the
Palestinian public supports "armed confrontations and intifada" against
Israel.
Abbas and the Palestinian Authority have proven again and again
that they hate Israel as much, if not more, than Hamas hates Israel.
There is a dangerously false idea that Abbas or any other
Palestinian leader would rein in Hamas in the West Bank. Abbas has no
problem with Hamas operating in the West Bank, as long as the terrorist
group is targeting Israel, and not him or the Palestinian Authority
leadership.... but everyone who lives in the West Bank and Gaza Strip
knows that this is a lethal lie.
Creating a Palestinian state in the West Bank would mean turning it into another Iran-led base for Jihad against Jews.
What appears to be missed by many in the West is that it is
Israel's security and civilian presence in the West Bank that is
preventing Hamas, or groups such as Al Qaeda or ISIS, from seizing
control of the area.
It is high time for Biden and other Western leaders to stop
pushing delusional ideas that will quickly lead to a repeat of the
October 7 massacre. How many Jewish babies must be beheaded or baked
alive in an oven, one wonders, for them to see that Palestinian leaders
have radicalized their people against Israel to a point where they brag
about slaughtering Jews with their own hands.

Since Hamas's October 7 massacre, thousands of Palestinians from the
West Bank have been taking to the streets almost on a daily basis to
voice support for the Iran-backed terrorist group based in the Gaza Strip.
This is the same West Bank that the Biden administration and many
Westerners are hoping will be part of a future Palestinian state next to
Israel. Those who continue to promote the dangerous idea of a
"two-state solution" are ignoring the fact that Hamas is sitting not
only in the Gaza Strip, but in the West Bank as well.
Bizarrely, President Joe Biden and some Western leaders are
continuing to talk about the need for establishing a sovereign and
independent Palestinian state, even after the Hamas atrocities in
October. What they are actually saying is: Now that Hamas has used the
Gaza Strip to invade Israel and slaughter Jews, let's give this Islamist
terror group the West Bank so it, too, can use it to butcher Jews.
The pro-Hamas demonstrations
show that the terrorist group is popular among the Palestinians,
including those living in the West Bank. The demonstrations also serve
as a reminder that a large number of Palestinians support terrorism
against Israel, including sickening crimes such as rape, beheadings,
torture and burning women and children alive.
Recent public opinion polls
conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research
(PSR) have shown that most Palestinians support Hamas and the "armed
struggle" (murder) against Israel. Every Palestinian child knows that if
presidential elections were held today, the terrorist group Hamas would
win. The most recent PSR poll,
published one month before the Hamas massacre, showed that 58% of the
Palestinians would vote for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh as opposed to
37% for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. The poll also
showed that 58% of the Palestinian public supports "armed confrontations
and intifada" against Israel.
The pro-Hamas demonstrations have been taking place mostly in those
areas of the West Bank that are controlled by the Palestinian Authority
(PA), headed by Abbas. Although Abbas and other senior PA leaders hate
Hamas, they are not doing anything to stop the Palestinians living under
their rule from taking to the streets to celebrate the murder of 1,400
Israelis and the wounding of more than 5,000 others during the October 7
carnage.
It is worth noting that in 2007, Hamas expelled the PA from the Gaza
Strip after killing hundreds of Abbas loyalists, some of whom were
dragged through the streets and lynched, while others were thrown from
rooftops of tall buildings.
By failing to curb the pro-Hamas demonstrations, the Palestinian
Authority is not only complicit in incitement to murder Jews, but also
acting against its own interests by emboldening its rivals in Hamas. One
of the reasons why the PA is not taking any measures to stop the
pro-Hamas demonstrations is because its leaders themselves are also
involved in the campaign of incitement against Israel and replacing it
with an Islamic state.
Abbas's anti-Israel and antisemitic rhetoric sometimes appears to
surpass that of his rivals in Hamas. One month before the Hamas
massacre, Abbas repeated a number of antisemitic canards he has uttered
over the years, including that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler had Jews
slaughtered because of their "social role" as moneylenders, not because
of his racist enmity toward Jews.
In a speech broadcast on Palestine TV on September 3, Abbas told leaders of his ruling Fatah faction during a meeting in Ramallah:
"They say that Hitler killed the Jews because they were
Jews and that Europe hated the Jews because they were Jews. Not true. It
was clearly explained that [the Europeans] fought [the Jews] because of
their social role, and not their religion... The [Europeans] fought
against these people because of their role in society, which had to do
with usury, money, and so on and so forth."
It is also worth noting that it was Abbas who initiated the campaign
of incitement against Israel surrounding visits by Jewish individuals
and groups to Jerusalem's Temple Mount, the Western Wall of which is all
that is left of the Jewish Temples (destroyed in 586 BCE and 70 CE),
and which is Judaism's holiest site.
In a notorious speech in 2015, Abbas falsely accused Jews who visit their holy Temple Mount of desecrating the Al-Aqsa Mosque, located on the Temple Mount:
"We salute every drop of blood spilled for the sake of
Jerusalem. This blood is clean, pure blood, shed for the sake of
Allah... Every martyr will be placed in Paradise, and all the wounded
will be rewarded by Allah... The Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the
Holy Sepulcher are ours. They are all ours, and they [Jews] have no
right to defile them with their filthy feet. "
Abbas's blood libel was interpreted by many Palestinians as a license
to murder Jews. In fact, shortly after Abbas made the accusation in
2015, Palestinians embarked on a spree of terrorism in which dozens of
Jews were murdered in stabbing and car-ramming attacks.
Abbas and the Palestinian Authority have proven again and again that
they hate Israel as much, if not more, than Hamas hates Israel.
The PA leadership has been waging an unceasing campaign to vilify
Israel and demonize Jews, especially in the international arena. The
Palestinian leadership has repeatedly accused Israel of "genocide," "war crimes," ethnic cleansing," and "apartheid." It has also consistently threatened to file "war crimes" charges against Israelis with the International Criminal Court.
For decades, Abbas has used every available podium, including the
United Nations General Assembly, to spread messages of hate and lies
against Israel. His ultimate goal has been to undermine and delegitimize
Israel to a point where Israel would be completely isolated in the
international arena. His daily incitement against Israel has not only
empowered Hamas, but also promoted antisemitism around the world.
Since the Hamas pogrom last month, Abbas has refrained from
condemning the terrorist group. Instead, he has chosen to hold Israel responsible
for the ensuing war. Essentially, Abbas is saying that Israel has no
right to defend itself in the face of Hamas's atrocities. He is also
implying that he sees no problem with Hamas having sent thousands of
terrorists to invade Israel and brutally murdered innocent Israeli
civilians.
There is a dangerously false idea that Abbas or any other Palestinian
leader would rein in Hamas in the West Bank. Abbas has no problem with
Hamas operating in the West Bank, as long as the terrorist group is
targeting Israel, and not him or the Palestinian Authority leadership.
That is why he has permitted Hamas supporters to march in the streets of
Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin and other West Bank cities and chant slogans in
favor of Hamas.
On October 29, dozens of schoolgirls marched in Jenin, chanting:
"We are the daughter of [Hamas arch-terrorist Mohammed] Deif" and "We
want Jihad [holy war], we want to die for the sake of Allah," and "We
want to blow up the head of the Zionists." At other demonstrations by
Hamas supporters, some of which were held not far from Abbas's office,
Palestinians chanted: "Anyone who has a rifle, should either shoot a Jew or give it to Hamas."
The idea of establishing a Palestinian state in the West Bank means
turning this area into another launching pad for attacking Israel and
slaughtering Jewish men, women and children. US President Joe Biden and
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken can continue to argue as much as they
want that Hamas does not represent the Palestinians, but everyone who
lives in the West Bank and Gaza Strip knows that this is a lethal lie.
Every Palestinian is aware of, and often admires, the pro-Hamas
demonstrations that have been taking place in the West Bank since
October 7.
Every Palestinian sees, and often admires, the Hamas-affiliated armed
groups that emerged in the West Bank over the past two years. Every
Palestinian has also seen how Hamas won student council elections at
major universities in the West Bank, including Birzeit University and
An-Najah University. Every Palestinian, in addition, sees how the
Palestinian Authority is unwilling to combat Hamas and other terrorist
groups in the West Bank.
What appears to be missed by many in the West is that it is Israel's
security and civilian presence in the West Bank that is preventing
Hamas, or groups such as Al Qaeda or ISIS, from seizing control of the
area. What they also do not seem to realize is that Abbas is in power in
the West Bank thanks to Israel's presence there. Without Israel's
presence, Hamas would have taken control of the West Bank a long time
ago. Creating a Palestinian state in the West Bank would mean turning it
into another Iran-led base for Jihad against Jews.
It is high time for Biden and other Western leaders to stop pushing
delusional ideas that will quickly lead to a repeat of the October 7
massacre. How many Jewish babies must be beheaded or baked alive in an oven, one wonders, for them to see that Palestinian leaders have radicalized their people against Israel to a point where they brag about slaughtering Jews with their own hands.

"As Gaza turns red, so could crucial battleground states"
There’s been quite the pressure campaign until now from Islamic organizations on the Biden administration.
But this time it comes from a Muslim Dem group issuing an official “ultimatum” threatening a Republican victory. And I do mean “ultimatum.” This is the title: “2023 Ceasefire Ultimatum”.
The National Muslim Democratic Council, a nationwide
group of Democratic leaders and activists, threatened President Joe
Biden that if he does not force Israel to reach a ceasefire with Hamas, a
U.S. State Department-designated foreign terrorist organization, by 5
p.m. ET on Tuesday, they will work to mobilize against him in the 2024
presidential election.
“It has become evident that our voices are being ignored, but our
votes will not be. Simply put, as Gaza turns red, so could crucial
battleground states,” the council said in a letter Monday to the White
House and Democratic Party.
“We will mobilize increased voter turnout to make our voices heard,”
the council also wrote. It added that Michigan, a swing state with a
large Muslim population that went for former President Donald Trump in
2016, went for Biden by 2.6% in 2020.
The council’s letter only refers to Israel one time, stating: “We
pledge to mobilize Muslim, Arab, and allied voters to withhold
endorsement, support, or votes for any candidate who did not advocate
for a ceasefire and endorse the Israeli offensive against the
Palestinian people.”
The National Muslim Democratic Council, like other Dem identity
groups, is supposed to exist to rally support among Muslims for the
Democrats. Instead, the NMDC is making it clear that its mission is the
exact opposite of that, which should no come surprise to anyone who
knows its history or what Islamists do: a category that excludes the
Dems.
Of course, there’s no such thing as a ceasefire with Hamas. The
recent Hamas atrocities occurred by taking advantage of a ceasefire.
But that’s by design.
Congressmen Keith Ellison and Andre Carson were the National Muslim Democratic Council’s founding honorary co-chairs.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi headlined a Democratic
Party fundraiser with leaders of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood front
groups in May of 2012.
The invitation-only fundraiser was sponsored by Reps. Keith Ellison,
D-Minn.; Andre Carson, D-Ind.; and Steve Israel, D-N.Y., chairman of the
Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and took place on the
evening of May 16, 2012, at the W Hotel in Washington D.C.
Also in attendance was Jamal Barzinji, a founding father of the
Muslim Brotherhood in America and co-founder of the Muslim Student
Association (MSA), an incubator for Islamic radicalism in North America.
Barzinji was named in a federal affidavit as being closely associated
with Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas. His name appears in a global
phone book of Muslim Brotherhood members recovered by Italian and Swiss
authorities in Nov. 2001 from the home of Al-Taqwa Bank of Lugano
founder Youssef Nada, one of the leaders of the international Muslim
Brotherhood.
Following the speeches, a prominent attorney, Mazen Asbahi publicly
rose to announce the creation of a new organization called the National
Muslim Democratic Council (NMDC). Asbahi was Barack Obama’s 2008 Muslim
outreach director but was forced to step down when his prior association
with a radical Muslim cleric, Jamal Said, became public. Said was an
unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism
financing trial.
So you can see why the NMDC might be willing to risk a major break
with the party it’s sucking blood from to protect the Jihadists in Gaza.

While their desire is a larger more comprehensive aid package, House Democrats risk angering their Jewish constituents with a vote against Israel aid as a "standalone" issue whenever the bill is considered on the House floor.
House Republicans are forcing
Democrats to take a series of tough votes related to Israel, which
declared war on Hamas after the terror attack in early October.
House Speaker Mike Johnson has separated $14.3 billion in foreign aid
for Israel from the Biden administration's proposed $105 billion
foreign assistance package with Ukraine funding and put it into a
standalone bill. As a result, House Democrats may be stained by a voting
record that might alienate Jewish or pro-Israel constituencies.
The White House and Democratic leaders had been advocating for $61
billion of Ukraine funding as well as $6 billion in humanitarian
assistance for Palestinian refugees to be included in a combined bundle
along with the funding for Israel.
While their desire is for a more comprehensive aid package, House
Democrats risk angering their Jewish constituents with a vote against
the Israel funding when the bill is considered on the House floor. The Pew Research Center
reports that "seven-in-ten Jewish adults identify with or lean toward
the Democratic Party, and half describe their political views as
liberal."
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim lobbying, education and advocacy group, announced on Wednesday that it formally opposes
the $14.3 billion in aid for Israel, arguing that it would be "used to
commit additional war crimes against Palestinian civilians in Gaza and
maintain the ongoing illegal occupation of Palestinian territory." The
group is urging House members to vote against it.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., introduced a resolution last week to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., for her controversial statements
about Israel. Tlaib has been vocal with her support for a ceasefire and
her opposition to Israel's military response to the Hamas attack.
Greene's resolution alleged that Tlaib "led an insurrection" at the
U.S. Capitol Complex on Oct. 18 which resulted in arrests, according to The Detroit News.
Tlaib delivered a speech at a separate protest calling for a ceasefire
but her office reportedly said she was not involved in the larger sit-in
where participants were arrested by Capitol Police.
The GOP-led House
ultimately killed the censure resolution on Wednesday evening when 23
Republicans and all Democrats voted to table it. Republicans like Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said
the insurrection charge was unproven. Democrats subsequently abandoned
their plans to move forward with voting on a censure resolution against
Greene.
Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., are planning to
introduce a bill to stop U.S. government funding to the United Nations
over its refusal to condemn Hamas.
"The U.N. is more on the lines of the Joe Biden administration and a one world government," Tuberville said on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast.
"They can't pass anything for human rights. They got some people on
these human rights committees that get an opportunity to vote that have
no human rights ... So the U.N. is out of date."
Since the Democrats control the Senate calendar, it is unclear if the
legislation will get a vote on the floor. The bill would be more likely
to move forward if it winds up getting any Democratic senators as
co-sponsors.
Given the Republican House majority, a House version of the Senate
bill could move to a floor vote, which would force Democrats to decide
whether to reject the U.N.'s refusal to condemn Hamas.

Israel has no right to defend itself as it is an occupying power,
Russia’s representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, said at
an emergency special session of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
“The
only thing they can muster is continued pronouncements about Israel’s
supposed right to self defense, although as an occupying power, it does
not have that power as confirmed by the advisory opinion of the
International Court of Justice handed down in 2004,” said the Russian
representative.
Despite
stating that Israel does not have the right to defend itself, Nebenzya
proceeded to state that Israel does have the right to “ensure its
security” and “to fight terrorism.”
“As
for Israel’s security - and we recognize its rights to ensure its
security - this security can only be fully guaranteed if we resolve the
Palestinian issue on the basis of relevant UN Security Council
resolutions," said the Russian representative.

lives lost in the name of blind retribution, will neither restore
justice, nor bring the dead back to life, nor console their families.”

Russia accuses US of 'hypocrisy' in handling of Gaza war
In a possible reference to Western criticism of Russia's invasion and occupation of eastern Ukraine,
Nebenzya accused the US and its allies of “hypocrisy,” saying that “in
other completely different situations are issuing appeals for the
respect of humanitarian law, establishing investigation committees,
imposing sanctions on those who are actually genuinely only resorting to
force as a last resort to put an end to years of violence.”
Nebenzya accused Western countries of “torpedoing” efforts
to reach a peaceful settlement of the situation and condemned efforts
by Arab states to normalize relations with Israel before the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict is settled.
The
Russian representative additionally stated that criticism of comments
by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres - in which he stated that
Hamas’s October 7 massacre “did not occur in a vacuum” - was
“undeserved.”
Conversation between a Hamas commander and a hospital director shows how the organization takes resources at the expense of civilians.
The IDF has released a recording that shows how the terror
organization takes gas from hospitals at the expense of the humanitarian
needs of Gaza residents.
This conversation between a commander of
Hamas’s Western Jabaliya Battalion and a Gazan resident, with the
participation of the director of the Indonesian Hospital, was
intercepted by Israeli Military Intelligence. Despite the sensitive
nature of this intelligence, the IDF says this intercept is being
declassified to expose Hamas’s cynical exploitation of humanitarian
resources in the Gaza Strip. The video confirms that Hamas controls
energy distribution in Gaza, prioritizing terrorist needs over the needs
of their civilian population.
In this phone call, a Hamas
commander repeatedly alludes to Hamas taking fuel from the hospital’s
stocks, “working as a government for the sake of the country.”
"Hamas
continues to exploit humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip to
support its terrorist activities at the expense of the residents of
Gaza," the IDF stated.
A male student sexually assaulted a girl classmate inside a restroom at a county high school in 2021 and 2022.
High school students in a northern
Virginia County on Wednesday protested a school policy that allows
biological males in girl’s locker rooms and restrooms.
The protest occurred in Loudoun County, which in recent years has
become a focal point over school policies regarding transgender students
and the transparency of those policies.
The protest was over at 2021 policy that
affirms the district’s commitment to “providing an equitable, safe and
inclusive learning environment for all students regardless of their sex,
sexual orientation, transgender status, gender identity or gender
expression,” according to the Daily Caller news outlet.
In May 2021, a male student sexually assaulted a girl classmate
inside a restroom at county high school. He was transferred another one
within the public for the next school year, where he assaulted another
girl.
