Rogan and Gabbard said MSNBC "deceptively" edited the video, prompting MSNBC to issue a correction.
MSNBC had to issue a correction to one of its TikTok videos that appeared to attribute podcast host Joe Rogan’s praise for former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard to Vice President Kamala Harris instead.
Rogan and Gabbard argued that MSNBC "deceptively edited" the video, prompting MSNBC to issue a correction.
"We have removed an earlier version of this post that incorrectly implied Joe Rogan was talking more about Vice President Kamala Harris. He was referring to Tulsi Gabbard," the outlet stated in a note, which was included in a new edited version of the video.
The original video of Rogan surfaced online after MSNBC's video was posted on August 2.
"This not reflective at all of the truth of what Joe Rogan said," Gabbard said about MSNBC's video.
