The Chosen One - Eric Lendrum

by Eric Lendrum

It is unquestionable that Divine Providence was watching over him that day.

It is quite impossible to exaggerate the historic nature of the moment in which we are all currently living. Our nation, our civilization, our very world is at a crossroads, and there is only one man capable of leading us back to the right path.

Witness to History

As a young man on the eve of my 30th year, I have not witnessed nearly as much history as many of my older colleagues. The first historic event of my lifetime was undoubtedly 9/11; that is an event where everybody who was alive and old enough on that day will instantly remember where they were, what they were doing, and how they reacted.

Saturday, July 13th, was truly the first day of my life that felt as if it had the same magnitude, a day where time seemed to stand still for a few agonizing moments as the news settled in.

I was at a social gathering with friends, enjoying beverages in a backyard despite the sweltering midday sun’s heat. The conversation I was in the midst of was suddenly interrupted by someone on the other side of the backyard suddenly yelling out, “Trump just got shot!”

Once the initial and natural feeling of doubt—”yeah, right, you’re joking”—quickly passed, the party got quiet in an instant as everyone pulled out their phones with surprising speed and synchronization. We were scrolling through social media, especially X, to see the latest videos. We were all commenting and analyzing every frame in real time, trying to reassure each other and ourselves that the former president would survive. We eventually migrated inside to watch live news coverage on the television.

Within seconds, the imagery of President Trump defiantly raising a fist as he got back on his feet, to thunderous applause from the audience, was burned into my mind forever. Even after the subsequent developments, from the deaths of the shooter and the rallygoer who was caught in the crossfire to the despicable coverage by the mainstream media, it was the image of the triumphant fist-pump, with a majestic American flag in the background, that was seen, shared, and revisited the most. President Donald J. Trump, like the Star-Spangled Banner, was still there.

Righteous Rage

In the hours after it happened, after I eventually returned home to be alone with my thoughts, I felt strangely conflicted about my emotional response: As much as I love and adore President Trump and have for many years, I could not bring myself to feel sad for him. The rather quick news that he was easily going to survive with only a minor injury made certain that tears would not be the overwhelming response.

Instead, I was overcome with a much more powerful emotion: pure, unadulterated, white-hot rage. Rage at the weasley little insect that tried, and failed, to take out the greatest man in recent American history. Rage at the mainstream media for downplaying the severity of the incident, with headlines declaring that Trump had left the stage simply due to “loud noises.” Rage at the leftist troglodytes on social media who were openly bemoaning the fact that the shooter had missed. Rage at Democrat politicians and pundits who openly encouraged assassination attempts through their rhetoric, comparing President Trump to Adolf Hitler. Rage at the incumbent Biden regime, which refused to provide President Trump with additional Secret Service protection despite numerous requests from the 45th president’s team to do so.

And what connects all of these threads together is their unified hatred of not only President Trump himself, but everything he represents: A forgotten working class that has finally found their champion; patriotic Americans who refuse to accept the notion that their homeland has somehow been an evil nation all along; outsiders who threaten the status quo of an entrenched political establishment that has been allowed to get drunk off of power for the last 80 years.

Most simply, the powers that be refuse to even let this election be a fair one. They cannot stand the idea of the American people choosing someone who won’t go along with their agenda, much less a man who has vowed to completely destroy all of our corrupt institutions where they stand and to throw the elitist bureaucrats out of power and put the common man back in charge.

It would be fitting for President Trump himself to determine that the American people should not feel bad for him. Sorrow is not a strong motivation to get anything done; anger is. The Founding Fathers and their compatriots did not rebel against the largest empire in the history of mankind out of sadness, but out of rage. Theirs, too, was a righteous fury that ultimately led them to victory against impossible odds and allowed for the birth of our glorious nation.

It is no exaggeration to say that the tyranny we now face—the prosecutorial Deep State, the censorious tech oligarchs, the lying media, and the conniving international elites—is a far greater threat to humanity than that imposed by the British crown in 1776. Donald Trump understands this, and now it is time for all of us to understand it as well.

A Man for the Ages

Donald Trump’s story has already been an incredible adventure that surpasses some of the greatest novels ever written. A billionaire businessman and former reality TV host who, with no prior political or military experience, was first elected to the presidency in the biggest political upset in American history; a man who proceeded to have numerous historic accomplishments in just four years, despite overwhelming opposition from within his own government and even his own party; a man who was then narrowly robbed of his deserved re-election through an obvious widespread voter fraud scheme that our Orwellian media still insists didn’t happen; a man who is in the process of staging perhaps the greatest political comeback of all time.

And now, by a hair’s width, a man who survived a vicious assassination attempt in front of the entire world, got back to his feet, and saluted the crowd in absolute triumph just moments later, with his own blood streaked across his face. Multiple images from the rally looked like Renaissance-era paintings, capturing the horror and intensity of the initial panic as well as the resilience and bravery of the man who recovered so quickly.

There is no other way to put it: Donald Trump is already one of the greatest men in history. His impact and legacy on our world will be felt for centuries to come. In due time, his name will stand alongside other great men who are known only by a single name: Socrates, Caesar, Charlemagne, Washington, Napoleon,… and Trump.

What makes this man so great is not extensive philosophical writings, vast military conquests, or leading historic revolutions. What makes him great is his selfless service and willingness to sacrifice everything he has for the country he loves and wants to save.

Donald Trump was not forced into this role. He chose it. He had the perfect life of luxury, comfort, and safety in his penthouse, overlooking the city he helped build. He had a loving family, a successful career in business and television, and was adored by the media and the political elite.

But since he became the man in the arena, he has faced endless persecution: lies in the media, political obstruction while in office, attacks on his business, and persecution by rabid judges and prosecutors since leaving office, including an arrest and a conviction. And now he can add “assassination attempt” to the long list of abuses he has faced since the day he first came down that golden escalator.

All he would have to do to stop this madness against himself and his family is quit. If he were to withdraw from politics, the attacks would end. He and his loved ones could live the rest of their lives in peace. But he perseveres because he understands the weight of this moment. He understands that the fight we are now in is far greater than himself. He knows that history will not only be changed but also defined by the actions we take and the decisions we make here and now. He may not be a philosopher, but he thinks about greater things than many of his contemporaries; he may not be a conqueror, but he is prepared to take on the greatest forces of evil our world has ever known; he may not be a soldier, but he is willing to die for the country he loves and for his countrymen.

And for these reasons and many more, it is unquestionable that Divine Providence was watching over him that day. The mighty Hand of our Creator protected him, for it was not yet his time. He turned his head and, by millimeters, avoided an instant and untimely death; what is that if not a miracle and a sign of God’s plan for this man? Let there be no further doubt as to which side the ultimate forces of good have taken in this battle for our civilization.

The sooner we all acknowledge the history that Donald Trump is making and pledge ourselves to fight for him every step of the way, the sooner we can guarantee that victory will be the only outcome.

Warning signs about Secret Service emerged months before Trump assassination attempt - John Solomon

by John Solomon

Congress launches instant probe as lawmakers fear Trump security detail had inadequate resources.

Driving Vice President-elect Kamala Harris by an undetected bomb. Refusing extra resources for a presidential candidate. Admitting an agent on a White House detail assaulted her supervisor.

Long before the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on Saturday night such focused a harsh light on the Secret Service, the presidential security agency was already facing difficult questions about its capability, training, recruitment and emphasis on diversity.

Secret Service agents reportedly were even circulating a petition raising questions about their management a few weeks ago.

Those questions are now certain to receive intense new attention after video footage showed a gunman on was able to scale a building less than 200 yards from Trump, get to a shooting perch with a rifle and fire several rounds before being neutralized by a Secret Service sniper team at the event Saturday night in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Several witnesses said they started to yell the man had a gun before he started shooting. And several lawmakers say they are now investigating reports that the Trump campaign had requested additional security resources recently, and was turned down.

“How could you have somebody on the rooftop?” House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, himself a victim of political violence when he was seriously wounded at a congressional baseball practice. “There are reports that people watched him climb up the roof and even alerted authorities, and we're going to be looking into that.”

How could that happen with all the authorities around that they miss something so clear that the shooter was able to get that kind of line of sight just 150 yards away from the stage?”

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer on Saturday night demanded the Secret Service provide Congress immediate answers as to how it failed to stop the assassination attempt.

Comer announced just hours after Trump survived the attack that he would be demanding testimony from the head of the Secret Service as well as documents and other evidence.

”I have already contacted the Secret Service for a briefing and am also calling on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to appear for a hearing,” he said on X. “The Oversight Committee will send a formal invitation soon. There are many questions and Americans demand answers."

Criticism of the Secret Service spread quickly on social media – from X owner Elon Musk to members of Congress. Several urged Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mallorca to reconsider his denial of Secret Service resources for third-party presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr.

“Extreme incompetence or it was deliberate. Either way, the SS leadership must resign,” Musk wrote.

Democrats also are likely to face new questions after Rep. Benny Thompson sought to end Trump‘s Secret Service protection recently and President Joe Biden reportedly told donors in recent days it was time to put a “bullseye” over his Republican rival.

Back in May, Congress requested a briefing with the Secret Service, after several incidents allegedly raised internal concerns over the quality of its trainings.

A petition within the Secret Service has reportedly been circulating because of the incidents and called for a congressional investigation into the agency, according to Comer.

One incident saw a Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris allegedly attack her superior and other agents. The unnamed agent also exhibited other "concerning" behavior, according to her colleagues.

Comer mentioned the incident in a letter to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and asked for a briefing on how the Secret Service is responding to the allegations of "inadequate training."

“This incident raised concerns within the agency about the hiring and screening process for this agent," Comer wrote in his letter. "Specifically [concerns] whether previous incidents in her work history were overlooked during the hiring process as years of staff shortages had led the agency to lower once stricter standards as part of a diversity, equity and inclusion effort."

Comer also flagged concerns from the petition related to a "double standard in disciplinary actions, and a vulnerability 'to potential insider threats' that could pose a risk to U.S. national security."

The letter requests the briefing by June 13, and cites “potential vulnerabilities” that could keep the Secret Service from “fulfilling its mission to ensure the safety and security of its protectees," including the president, vice president, and their families

Who's to blame for civilian casualties in Gaza yesterday AND EVERY DAY SINCE OCT. 7? - Nan Jacques Zilberdik

by Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Hamas’ war crime is not merely that it uses civilians as human shields. But that Hamas’ entire military strategy is built on hiding its terrorists in civilian infrastructures and to only fight behind civilian shields. Hamas is responsible and must be condemned for every Israeli and every Palestinian killed since October 7.

  • Hamas, and only Hamas, is to blame
  • Even PA Chairman Abbas' advisor criticizes Hamas for using Palestinians as human shields

Who's to blame for the civilian casualties in Gaza yesterday and every day since Oct 7? Hamas, and only Hamas!

When Israel managed to rescue 4 hostages held by Hamas in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip in June 2024, the PA cried “massacre on civilians” because some Palestinian civilians were killed along with numerous Hamas terrorists who attacked the Israeli soldiers during the rescue operation. (See below)

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, has since admitted that Hamas were using Gazan civilians as human shields when they chose to hide the Israeli hostages in a “simple civilian infrastructure”:

Abbas’ advisor Al-Habbash: “The Israeli occupation forces committed an additional massacre at the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip (ie., refers to Operation Arnon in which 4 Israeli hostages were freed). Hundreds of civilians fell as Martyrs and wounded... This is a refugee camp. The infrastructure there is a simple civilian one.  It has a very large population density…”

BBC Arabic TV host: “The Israeli army spokesperson and senior Israeli officials all claimed that the killing of the civilians in Nuseirat is Hamas’ responsibility. They say that Hamas is the one that hid the Israeli detainees (i.e., hostages) in a crowded refugee camp, therefore it is the one that bears the responsibility.” ...

Al-Habbash: Let no one understand me as defending Hamas’ policy, I’m the first who criticizes it... The responsibility falls first of all and before everything [else] on the cause for all these disasters that are befalling the region, and it is the existence of the Israeli occupation. If there were no occupation (i.e., no Israel) there would be no Hamas, there would be no resistance, and there would be no violence... Releasing the Israeli hostages or Israeli captives is an excuse. Just like everything that happened on Oct. 7 was an excuse for Israel to spill the Palestinian people’s blood... The Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is unfortunately between the rock of Israel and the hard place of Hamas.

[PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Facebook page,
June 9, 2024]

Palestinian Media Watch has documented the PA’s criticism of Hamas, accusing them of serving their “Iranian masters” and not caring one bit about the Palestinian people in general and the civilians in Gaza in particular as long as the war serves Hamas’ and Iran’s goals.

BBC Arabic TV placed text on screen during the interview with Al-Habbash:

Text on screen: “The Israeli army announced the ‘release’ [quotation marks in source] of four living hostages in a special operation in the Gaza Strip”

[PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Facebook page,
June 9, 2024]

Hamas’ war crime is not merely that it uses civilians as human shields. But that Hamas’ entire military strategy is built on hiding its terrorists in civilian infrastructures and to only fight behind civilian shields. Hamas is responsible and must be condemned for every Israeli and every Palestinian killed since October 7.

Mahmoud Al-Habbash also serves as Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice. In August 2019, PA Chairman Abbas dismissed all his advisors by Presidential decree. It is unclear what their status is today.

Operation Arnon - an Israeli rescue operation during the 2023 Gaza war, in which Israeli special forces rescued 4 Israeli hostages from the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on June 8, 2024. The hostages - Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40) - had been taken captive from the Nova musical festival on Oct. 7, 2023, and were being held in two separate nearby locations in residential buildings by Palestinian civilians who were being paid by Hamas, in addition to armed Hamas terrorists who were guarding the hostages. Palestinian terrorists opened fire on the Israeli forces while they were extricating the hostages, initiating a gun battle in which Israeli Yamam special forces officer Arnon Zamora (36) was killed. Palestinian terrorists and civilians were also killed in the battle, with the Israeli army reporting less than 100 Palestinian casualties, while Hamas' Health Ministry claimed at least 274 Palestinians died.

Hamas war on Israel October 2023 - Over 1,100 Israelis, including over 800 civilians, were murdered and over 5,000 wounded, in addition to approximately 251 who were abducted into the Gaza Strip (including 135 later released or liberated - 19 of them whose bodies were retrieved - and at least 41 who were killed and had their bodies held), in a Hamas terror war that began when approximately 3,000 Hamas terrorists and thousands of Gazan civilians broke through Israel's security fence at the Gaza Strip border and launched a surprise attack, taking control of several Israeli towns and attacking a music festival on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah, which fell on the Sabbath, Oct. 7, 2023. During the massacre the terrorists tortured, raped, shot, beheaded, and burned their victims alive, murdering entire families and leaving at least 21 children without parents. Hamas terrorists also fired at least 5,000 rockets at Israeli population centers. In response, Israel launched Operation Iron Swords to counter the Hamas terror threat. Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon joined Hamas' terror war starting from the following day, attacking Israel from the north. Occasional rocket launches and shootings continued from Lebanon throughout the war. A ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal began on Nov. 24, 2023, in which Israel agreed to release 150 terrorist prisoners, pause drone surveillance in the Gaza Strip, and allow movement between the northern and southern Gaza Strip, in return for 50 Israeli female and child hostages held by Hamas. The deal was subsequently extended with additional releases, until Hamas violated the agreement and resumed attacking on Dec. 1, 2023.

‘God bless Trump’: Israeli politicos react to assassination attempt - Charles Bybelezer

by Charles Bybelezer

"Violence can never ever be part of politics," tweeted Foreign Minister Israel Katz.

Israelis from across the political spectrum on Sunday conveyed overwhelming support for Donald Trump following the attempt on his life at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the assassination attempt on the former president and presumptive Republican nominee for the White House “is not only a heinous crime, it is also an attempt to assassinate American democracy.”

At the start of the weekly Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem on Sunday morning, Netanyahu said that he “would like to send him in my name, in the name of my wife, Sara, in the name of the ministers of the Israeli government and in the name of the entire people of Israel our best wishes for a speedy recovery and a return to full strength.”

Netanyahu earlier wrote that he and Sara were “shocked by the apparent attack on President Trump” and praying “for his safety and speedy recovery.”

Foreign Minister Israel Katz tweeted, “I am shocked by the shooting at the 45th President of the U.S. Donald Trump. I pray for his speedy recovery. Violence can never ever be part of politics.”

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid described the shooting as “greatly troubling and dangerous,” tweeting, “Political violence is an existential threat to democratic systems. I extend my wishes for a speedy recovery to the former president.”

Trump was rushed off stage—bleeding from his right ear—after being shot on Saturday at a political rally in Butler, Pa., north of Pittsburgh.

The president lifted his fist as Secret Service agents walked him off stage. Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger told AP that the shooter was dead and one attendee at the rally was killed.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, from Bethel Park, a southern suburb of Pittsburgh (Butler is a northern suburb), as the “subject involved” in the shooting.

“Wishing former President Trump a speedy recovery and strength following the attack on Saturday in Pennsylvania,” wrote Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families affected by this event. We stand with the American people in condemning the violent attempt to shake their great democracy,” he added.

“God bless Trump,” Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir tweeted succinctly.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich tweeted, “Praying from the Holy Land for President Trump.”

Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli said the development was “the direct result of a campaign of incitement and delegitimization” against the Republican.

“In Israel, a shockingly identical campaign of incitement is being waged against Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu that is completely overlooked by the ombudsman and law enforcement agencies solely because it is coming from the ‘right’ direction. Disgrace,” added Chikli.

Former War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz said that “the U.S. is the most resilient democracy in the world because of the tenacity of the American people.”

He added, “I know they will undoubtedly overcome this difficult moment. I wish former President Trump a swift recovery and condemn any heinous acts of violence seeking to harm democracy and undermine stability and the rule of law.”

Shots Fired at Rally, Trump Wounded - Robert Spencer

by Robert Spencer

The Left gets what it wanted.

The left has finally gotten what it has longed for since Donald Trump announced his first candidacy for president in 2015: a bloodied Trump being led off a stage. But they didn’t get what they want most of all, for he is still alive.

Early Saturday evening, Donald Trump was speaking at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania when shots rang out. Trump turned, grabbed his ear, and then ducked behind the podium as Secret Service agents rushed to surround him. Moments later, he stood up and was being ushered quickly off the stage when he stopped the agents, saying: “Wait!” Then, his face bloodied, he raised his fist in defiance and said to the crowd, “Fight!”

Sound advice, succinctly stated. It is clear that if we don’t fight now, the forces of evil that so desperately want to destroy Trump will destroy us as well, as he has long warned, and the nation will be enveloped in authoritarian darkness.

Unless he was wounded more seriously than he initially appeared to be, Trump should be able to continue his campaign without serious difficulty. But nothing else should go on as usual. Amid all the tumult and confusion occasioned by this shooting, there is one certainty: this will lead to no introspection among the political and media elites. There will be no consideration whatsoever of how leftist rhetoric and media propaganda contributed to a climate of hatred that led to this happening. Yet this time, they must not be allowed to blame this shooting on Trump himself, or January 6, or climate change, or whatever new idiocy they may devise.

The New York Post is saying that law enforcement authorities have identified the shooter as a 20-year-old registered Republican, Thomas Matthew Crooks. If this is accurate, it will be the only detail the establishment media ever tells us about Crooks. But it may be a psy-op. Investigative journalist Paul Sperry noted some information that could be more illuminating of Crooks’ mindset: “NEW: FEC database shows a Thomas Crooks of 2506 Milford Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa., gave $15 to the Dem fundraising platform ACTBLUE on Jan. 20, 2021. The donation was earmarked for Progressive Turnout Project, which endorsed Biden and claims ‘Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy.’” Where could anyone have gotten that idea?

Even worse, an eyewitness stated that he pointed the shooter out to Secret Service several minutes before the shots rang out and was ignored. That’s either gross negligence or collusion, but we may never know which. Beyond that, there is no doubt: this shooting was the direct and unmistakable result of the left’s nine-year-long determination to destroy Trump. The left has been working to destroy Trump since he announced his candidacy in 2015. The left hamstrung his presidency with false charges of Russian collusion that wasted tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions, of taxpayer money. They impeached him twice on false charges.

They even sent agents provocateurs into the crowd at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 in order to frame him for a nonexistent “insurrection.” They have made misdemeanors into felonies and multiplied one offense into 34 by charging him for each of its constituent elements in order to saddle him with bogus felony convictions so that they could howl that he was a “convicted felon.” They lied to the world that he was a rapist over the unsupported claims of a woman who couldn’t even remember what year the traumatic event supposedly took place.

Old Joe Biden has long been one of the chief offenders. He has repeated lied about Trump’s statements and positions, even in the recent debate. On September 1, 2022, Old Joe Biden notoriously warned that “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” Never before had an American president ruled his principal opponent, and the supporters of that opponent, outside the bounds of acceptable political discourse. Never before had a president politicized and weaponized the Justice Department to go after his opponent.

Yet Biden, the destroyer of the republic, and his fellow Democrats have repeatedly warned that Trump will destroy “our democracy,” hoping Americans will forget that Trump was president before and left the White House voluntarily on January 20, 2021. Less than two weeks ago, Biden’s campaign team claimed yet again that Trump was on January 6, 2021 “encouraging a violent mob to attack the Capitol.” This despite the fact that Trump told protestors to proceed “peacefully and patriotically.”

And on and on and on. The New Republic’s June 2024 cover features a Photoshop blend of Trump and Hitler. And all along, leftists dreamed of doing more. Just days ago, New York Times columnist John McWhorter said: “I wish somebody would kill Donald Trump.” He was just the latest in a long line. Remember Kathy Griffin holding a mockup of Trump’s severed head. Remember Madonna saying: “I’ve thought a lot about blowing up the White House.” Remember Johnny Depp asking: “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?”

In March 2024, longtime Democrat strategist James Carville said to Anderson Cooper: “I mean, to be candid, Anderson, President Biden is not the best attack politician I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’ll leave it at that. But there are a lot of people to do what I call ‘the wet work.'” That’s a common euphemism for assassination, and so Cooper responded: “Sounds like a mob hit.” Carville conceded the point: “Well, it’s kind of, but it’s paid TV and stuff like that. But yes, that’s a CIA term. Take a guy out.”

That was just the latest example of the left’s legitimization of political violence, and most notably of the Marxist group Antifa. Antifa is a violent, insurrectionist organization, not simply an “idea,” as Biden and others have claimed. Its premise is that government can’t be trusted to protect us from Trump’s fascists and trains its members in weapons and military strategies. This is an organization that the Democratic Party protects. During the George Floyd riots of 2020, the political and media elites coddled and even applauded the rioters. On Saturday evening, the world saw what kind of climate this created.

When the assassination attempt took place, Donald Trump was leading in the polls and — Democrat cheating aside — looked as if he had a good chance to return to the White House on January 20, 2025. Totalitarians that they are, leftists knew they had one more option. On Saturday, the world saw what it was.

And so now it should be abundantly clear that for all the media and Biden regime talk of “right-wing extremists,” the real threat of violence comes from the left, and always has. In a sane political system, Joe Biden and many others would be charged with inciting people to murder Trump. Though they will face no consequences, they still bear the responsibility. America must do everything legally possible to remove the cancer of the left from the body politic, or the parasite will most assuredly kill the host.

IDF confirms Khan Yunis Brigade commander Rafa’a Salameh killed in targeted strike - Yonah Jeremy Bob

Salameh was by Deif's side, and according to the sources, his body was recovered and buried immediately.

Hamas Khan Yunis Brigade Commander Rafa’a Salameh was killed during a targeted strike by IDF fighter jets on Saturday in the al-Muwasi humanitarian area in southern Gaza, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) confirmed on Sunday after the Gaza terror group had confirmed the same.

Salameh is the third of Hamas’s five brigade commanders for all of Gaza to be killed over the course of the war, with two still at large.

The Hamas brigade commanders are the bedrock of the terror group’s field leadership much the same way that Israel has top commanders for its northern, central, and southern commands.

In addition, Salameh was known as being particularly close to Gaza Chief Yahya Sinwar and to Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif, who was targeted in the same Saturday strike, but whose fate is still uncertain.

Salameh was known to be one of the few intermediaries with Sinwar for hostage negotiations, giving his death a broader impact beyond military issues.

More recently, Salameh was behind the Khan Yunis brigade trying to reconstitute itself as a rocket-firing threat against the southern portion of the Israeli-Gaza Corridor in order to try to undermine Jerusalem’s narrative that the war has subdued the Hamas rocket threat.

About Rafa'a Salameh

Salameh led much of the invasion plans from southern Gaza into the farthest south Israeli Gaza border towns for the October 7 massacre.

He joined Hamas in the early 1990s and was eventually appointed in 2016 to the position of commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis Al Qarara Battalion under the command of Mohammed Sinwar, who later joined Hamas’s high command counsel.

Salameh played a significant role in the abduction of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, the IDF noted.

During Operation Protective Edge in 2014, Salameh was in command of Hamas's combat support and defensive plans.

Besides being in charge of all rocket fire in the area, he was also in command of an operation during the 2021 Gaza conflict to launch a surprise attack on Israeli soldiers and villages via two attack tunnels from Khan Yunis.

During that operation, the IDF managed to kill 18 terrorists who attempted to infiltrate Israeli territory, thwarting the mini-invasion scheme.

Israel's security establishment overall believes that Deif was killed along with Salameh, but there is still no physical evidence.

Moreover, Hamas has admitted Salameh’s death, but explicitly denied Deif’s.

Last night, the deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, Khalil al-Hayya, told the Qatari state-funded broadcaster Al Jazeera that Deif had heard Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's victorious speech and laughed at it.

According to the IDF, the attacked complex belonged to Salameh and was registered in his name.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met with air force personnel and complimented them on the attack and on the general qualitative advantage they give the IDF for operating within Gaza.

Ilhan Omar Charged With Ethics Violations - Hugh Fitzgerald

Heading toward a world of woe.

[Order David Horowitz’s new book, America Betrayed, HERE.]

Recently, Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) held a campaign rally with a former Somali prime minister, who spoke in her favor, noting that she would “represent Somalia” and not “the interests of the American people” in Congress. His appearance has led to an ethics complaint being filed against Ilhan Omar for violating federal election laws, and fighting those charges is likely to lead her into a world of woe. More on this latest complaint filed against Ilhan Omar can be found here: “Ilhan Omar Slapped With Ethics Complaint From Conservative Watchdog Over Holding Rally With Ex-Somali PM,” by Corey Walker, Algemeiner, July 4, 2024:

US Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has been slapped with an ethics complaint by the American Accountability Foundation (AAF), a conservative watchdog group, for holding an event with former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire.

Last weekend [Jun 30], Khaire took the stage with Omar in support of her reelection campaign. AAF argued Khaire’s presence at Omar’s campaign rally constituted a violation of the US Federal Election Campaign Act and demanded the congresswoman step down from office.”

“We are deeply concerned by Ilhan Omar’s illegal campaign rally with the former prime minister of Somalia. Omar already has a long history of statements indicating her disdain for America and allegiance to Somalia, but this goes beyond statements,” the AAF wrote.

“Now her campaign has taken action to involve a foreign leader in an American election. She must resign immediately and return every dollar raised for her at this disgraceful rally,” the watchdog continued.

The organization argued Omar potentially committed two infractions against the Federal Election Campaign Act.

First, AAF alleged that the congresswoman “knowingly accepted former Somalia Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire’s services at her campaign events.” They asserted this action exceeded the “limited volunteer services permitted by a foreign national and involves impermissible decision-making.”

Of course, Omar knew that Hassan Ali Khaire would be appearing at her rally — she had no doubt requested him to come from Somalia, and arranged for payment from an entity unconnected to her campaign. She welcomed his appearance, knowing how it would galvanize the Somali-Americans in her district, and would be covered in the media, lending her stature as someone of significance beyond America’s borders.

Second, the watchdog claimed that Khaire was possibly “compensated by a prohibited source.” The organization suggested that Ka Joog, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit that focuses on “empowering Somali American youth,” organized and funded Khaire’s trip to America. AAF argued that Omar likely “knowingly accepted a corporate contribution associated with Mr. Khaire’s travel and lodging costs” with the goal of boosting voter turnout among Minnesota’s Somali-American community….

Someone had to pay the considerable expenses —the travel and lodging costs for Khaire while the former prime minister was in Minnesota. The AFF suspects that Omar arranged for payment of those expenses by a corporation that was seemingly unconnected to her campaign. This would be a clever way to get around the prohibition on corporate contributions to political campaigns.

Omar’s campaign counsel David Mitrani denied that the congresswoman violated any elections laws….

“Congresswoman Omar’s campaign had absolutely no involvement in requesting, coordinating, or facilitating Mr Khaire’s appearance or his comments, and accordingly there was no violation of law,” he continued.

So we are being asked to believe that Hassan Ali Khaire simply showed up unannounced at her rally unbeknownst to Ilhan Omar, who had absolutely nothing to do with arranging his trip to Minnesota or his appearance at her rally. How plausible is that?

Khaire’s claim that Omar’s “interests” are with Somalia rather than with the American people raised eyebrows, with critics pointing out that she has previously criticized the American Jewish community for supposedly maintaining “allegiance” to the government of Israel….

And here she is today, being praised by the former prime minister of Somalia for exactly that: her total allegiance to Somalia, and not to Minnesota or to the “interests of the American people.”

Her comments on the “dual loyalty” of American Jews are hard to stomach. After all, no one can accuse Ilhan Omar of “dual loyalty.” Her loyalty is clear: it is to Somalia, and Somalia alone. The former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire made this clear to his audience, as he stood beside her at her campaign rally, saying “Ilhan’s interests aren’t those of Minnesota or the American people, but those of Somalia.” Omar did not correct him. And the fact that such a statement would be taken by Somali-American voters as a point in her favor leads one to question their loyalty to this country.

Bringing Hassan Ali Khaire all the way from Somalia, having a corporation pay for his travel and lodging, and allowing him to engage in a significant campaign event, likely violates several Federal election laws. But worst of all is this awful truth: as Hassan Ali Khaire said, and Omar did not contradict him, her “interests aren’t those of Minnesota or the American people, but those of Somalia.” What more do we need to know about Ilhan Omar?

NATO tailors defense rhetoric toward Trump as Europe eyes his return - Ben Whedon

by Ben Whedon

The Ukraine War has prompted European and American leaders to reevaluate their handling of defense politics.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s visit Thursday to Mar-a-Lago to meet with former President Donald Trump suggests that at least some European leaders are preparing for the potential return of the former commander-in-chief to the White House.

“Peace mission 5.0.” Orbán posted afterward on social media. “We discussed ways to make #peace. The good news of the day: he’s going to solve it!”

Trump responded on Truth Social: “Thank you Viktor. "There must be PEACE, and quickly. Too many people have died in a war that should have never started!” – presumable referring to Russia's war on Ukraine.

The exchange at the conclusion of the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., in which foreign leaders and defense ministers, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, gathered to address the state of the alliance and the ongoing conflict in eastern Europe.

Trump, when president, regularly pressed NATO members to meet their 2% spending targets during his time in office. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg last month announced that 23 of the alliance’s 32 members would meet their spending targets in 2024.

The Ukraine War has prompted European and American leaders to reevaluate their handling of defense politics and the role of the alliance. The prospect of Trump’s return, moreover, appears to have some of the bloc’s defense officials doing some soul searching.

NATO members appear mindful of a Trump return

Apart from Orbán, who is now president of the European Union, and other figures, notably defense ministers from the Baltic nations, appeared to tailor their own message to Trump, now the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, during the summit.

“NATO is a club," Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said, according to Politico. "When you have club rules, then you respect the rules and you expect that everyone will also respect the rules. When you pay your fee in the golf club, you can play. It doesn’t matter how big is your wallet,”

The news outlet interpreted the golf analogy as a nod to Trump, who is known to be proud of his golf game.

Situated on the border with the Russian Federation, Estonia has ranked among the most ardent supporters of Ukraine amid the conflict. Other nearby nations appeared to address concerns over Trump’s NATO skepticism.

The “United States is indispensable for us," Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds told Politico. "At the same time, I would say, it’s vice versa. We believe also that NATO is indispensable for the United States."

Still, European Council President Charles Michel says Orbán's visit to Trump's Mar-a-Lago house was not conducted on behalf of the EU, despite Hungary currently holding the presidency of the bloc.

Trump has his own plans for peace

Trump has repeatedly claimed that Russia President Vladimir Putin would not have ordered the invasion of Ukraine had he still been in office. He has also said he would solve the conflict within a single day if returned to the White House in November, a declaration over which Ukrainian and Russian officials have expressed skepticism.

In late June, Trump vowed that if elected he would resolve the conflict "as president-elect before I take office.”

Trump campaign communications Director Steven Cheun says Trump "has repeatedly stated that a top priority in his second term will be to quickly negotiate an end to the Russia-Ukraine war."

He also make clear Trump also believes European nations "should be paying more of the cost of the conflict, as the U.S. has paid significantly more, which is not fair to our taxpayers.”

Orbán carrying the torch

While Trump’s claims have raised eyebrows among many world leaders, they have resonated mostly clearly with Orbán, a far-right leader who stated in March that “there would be no war today if he were still president of the United States.”

But with the U.S. presidential election still months away, Orbán has tried to foster negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv, visiting both cities in recent weeks and meeting with the leaders of both nations.

Speaking to the Washington Post after his meeting in Kyiv, Orbán indicated that he urged Zelensky “to consider whether it might be possible to do things a bit differently – to stop the fire and then negotiate with Russia, as a cease-fire would speed up the pace of these negotiations.”

Orbán has also recently visited China. Through such visits, Orbán’s efforts to foster peace negotiations to end the ongoing Ukraine war have added volume to Trump’s own calls for talks and frustrated NATO allies and European Union members, many of whom support continuing the conflict until Ukraine wins.

But the Hungarian leader sees the prospects of a Ukrainian victory on the battlefield as remote and has encouraged Zelensky to change course.

China as a power broker

Orbán arrived in China on a surprise visit and met with President Xi Jinping, with whom he discussed the need to begin direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

“China is a key power in creating the conditions for peace in the Russia-Ukraine war,” Orbán said in an X post. “This is why I came to meet with President Xi in Beijing, just two months after his official visit to Budapest.”

Throughout the conflict, China and Russia have strengthened their economic and military ties, with Beijing offering Moscow a critical lifeline to contend with western sanctions. Putin and Xi in May signed a joint statement in which they vowed to "deepen trust and cooperation in the military field" and "expand the scope of joint exercises and combat training.”

Putin and Zelensky seem open to Trump

With the war showing no signs of ending, the prospect of its continuing past the election and until such a point that Trump could influence negotiations seems likely. Major players in the conflict appear increasingly aware that Trump may return to the world stage and involve himself in the war and its resolution.

Indeed, Zelensky has repeatedly invited Trump to visit the war-torn nation to familiarize himself with the situation on the ground.

Trump’s having yet to articulate a plan appears to have frustrated , who last week urged him to do so.

“If Trump knows how to finish this war, he should tell us today," Zelensky said in a recent interview with Bloomberg Television.

Putin has suggested that he would welcome efforts from Trump to help end the war, saying during a recent trip to Kazakhstan that “[t]he fact that Mr. Trump as a presidential candidate is saying that he is ready and wants to stop the war in Ukraine, we take that quite seriously,” Agence France Presse reported.

He did indicate that he was unaware of Trump’s exact position, added that "I have no doubt that he says it sincerely, and we support it.”
