Soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces' Kfir
Brigade thwarted a terror attack near the Gush Etzion community of
Migdal Oz on Saturday evening.
Around 6:30 p.m., the IDF received a report of
suspicious individuals approaching the south side of the fence that
encircles Migdal Oz.
Soldiers sent to the area arrested four
Palestinians who were driving in a vehicle near the community's fence. A
search of the vehicle uncovered three knives and an improvised weapon.
"The suspects were on their way to carry out a terror attack in the community," the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said.
On Friday, a border policeman was moderately
injured while subduing a female terrorist who attempted to stab him and
another Border Police officer stationed near Damascus Gate on the edge
of Jerusalem's Old City.
The incident took place late afternoon Friday, when security personnel noticed a 16-year-old girl acting suspiciously.
The girl approached the Border Police
soldiers, drew a knife and attempted to stab one of them. She was
apprehended and later told investigators that she had sought to carry
out a terror attack.
