In this week's Israel Hayom Insider, Israel Hayom Deputy Editor Aharon Lapidot and military photographer Yissachar Ruas speak to host Steve Ganot about the futuristic capabilities of the F-35 stealth fighter jet and what it may mean for Israel.
As the Israeli Air Force gears up to receive its first F-35 stealth fighter plane in 2016, some questions remain about the $200 million dollar aircraft.
One of the only fifth-generation planes in existence, the F-35 boasts sophisticated intelligence and weapons systems, and some have speculated that it may be a game-changer in allowing Israel to take on Iran.
The IAF has already ordered 33 of these impressive warplanes, which are designed to work together as a fleet on complex missions. The cost has tied up Israel's military aid from the United States for the next couple of years.
Watch as Israel Hayom Deputy Editor Aharon Lapidot and military photographer Yissachar Ruas speak to host Steve Ganot about the cutting-edge features of the F-35 and how this airborne acquisition may affect the Israeli military.
