The top donor so far is George Soros, who has contributed over $128 million to the midterms. Most of his funding has gone to the super PAC Democracy II, which backs liberal causes and Democratic candidates.
That included millions to Stacey Abrams, and $1 million to the anti-Israel group J Street. He pumped a whole lot of cash into the Dem Senate fund: including to the Georgia runoff.
Either directly or through his affiliated super PACs, Soros in the 2022 cycle, gave $14 million to Senate Majority PAC, the flagship Senate Democratic super PAC. That includes $1 million for the Georgia runoff, which Sen. Raphael Warnock won on Tuesday night, giving Democrats a 51-seat majority in the Senate. Soros sent another $5 million to House Majority PAC, the main House Democratic super PAC, according to the person directly familiar with the Democracy PAC filing.

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) has received another major boost ahead of the December Senate runoff election from a George Soros-funded political action committee linked to a dark money nonprofit organization, records showed.
Black Voters Matter Action PAC, which previously spent over $141,000 to support Warnock on Nov. 4, has poured in hundreds of thousands of dollars to further boost the church pastor, according to new Federal Election Commission filings.
BVM Action PAC launched in 2020 with a helping hand from Soros, receiving $1.25 million from Democracy PAC, a group the billionaire founded and largely financed. LaTosha Brown and Cliff Alright, the co-founders of BVM Action PAC, also helm a 501(c)(3) charity called the BVM Capacity Building Institute and a 501(c)(4) BVM Fund.

Last year the Southern Poverty Law Center announced that it would spend $100 million on voter outreach in five states including Georgia and Florida. Beneficiaries include Alabama Forward, a coalition that encompasses local chapters of the ACLU, the NAACP, William J. Barber II’s Poor People’s Campaign and the Black Voters Matter Fund. BVM has been credited with boosting black turnout to enable the elections of Doug Jones, Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
“Georgia voters practically handed victories to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris with a historic election outcome,” BVM head LaTosha Brown boasted. “Georgia owes tremendous gratitude to its Black voters, who turned out and voted in record numbers — just as they did in November.”
“For years, our organization has been reaching into Black communities to help them harness and leverage their voting power — and that work does not end on Election Day,” she added.
The networks of George Soros and Pierre Omidyar, a former Nazi collaborator and Franco-Persian tech tycoon, had urged, “We will need to mobilize more than a billion dollars to uphold the integrity of our election process and ensure diverse, equitable participation.”
That’s how it works. And will go on working until conservatives get serious about tackling the nonprofit networks, not just those of Soros, that are strangling our politics, as discussed in David Horowitz’s new pamphlet.
